Doto [AdvCiv ModMod]

Have a strange issue: health from bonus resources douesn't count to total health (screenshot and save attached). Probably a bug of russian Civ, but never experienced this with other mods.

Like the mod so far, would probably love it with larger cities :)

Keldath old friend.... any chance for You to find a time to spend it on O2 ?
Yours is the only one which goes fast turn to turn on my dual ssd, 980x 12G ram rig.....

ok, what would you like me to do? i updated the mod to revdcm 2.9, and a few more minimum changes.
i didnt upload it yet, but if you want, who am i to argue :) just say if theres anything you think should be fixed/added/changed prior to my upload.

for now i stopped working with AND, since its in it final version, maybe when ill be really bored ill update it too.

yeah, glad to here once more my mod is fast, that was the point and leading theme on the mod.

I do not have some big wishes ;)...I mean if something is so close to perfection who am I to request changes? :goodjob:
I just like to see from time to time some movement on forum around O2 ... maybe some updates when component modes are updated...... no pushing .. no stressing..... just liking ......
I do play c2c but lag time is so so frustrating... I remember that way before when there was some lag in old O2 you told me to turn of some options... was it increasing difficulty? or... assimilation?...maybe both?.. well anyway it is not your problem ......
I guess in any kind of mod, cleaning the code well and doing writing more efficient would do the trick. But most moders are just usual dudes doing mods for fun and often learning during writing so.... I will not complain about consistency and rules of good programming.... too bad that I am to lazy to do cleanups by myself....

yeah i do remember those options that slowed the game, forgot bout that.

well, the trick in civ4 for not causing too much lag - is to skim on the art.
mods like rom, rom adn, history in the making and more is having too much art - extra civs contribute a lot, building art is adding a lot aswell.

ill do an update on the weekend buddy.
 
Quick question, if I may: how well does the AI do on selecting the right buildings and advancements? Is it a mod that can be played on a break-even Noble, or does it require a much higher level of difficulty to compensate for the computer's problems in making good choices?
 
well,
not sure i can answer this one.

the mod uses bbai 1.02b, which improves the ai in numerous aspects, im not sure about this.
all i know is when i play Prince-war level + ruthless ai, the game is very difficult for me, i lost a few games...
some perks for buildings make the ai prioritize buildings, like level of commerce bonus and such.
also there's a tag in the building xml - aiweight - it suppose to signal the ai how important this building, not sure if it works well though.

Thanks. I'm asking, because I've played a couple of mods (no names) that threw in quite a lot of changes, which the AI couldn't handle. As a result, the modders recommended playing it on the highest level, to give the AI a chance. I'd rather not play that way, and it sounds as though you have matters well in hand. I'll download your next mod update--which sounds like it's hours away--and check it out.
 
This looks like a fun mod but I can't download it. I clicked the link on the media fire page and got the message "Your download is starting" but the only thing that happens is I get a bunch of pop up ads showing.

i know sometimes media can fall, try a few times. maybe something is blocking your download - maybe some firefix thingy?
ill make sure to upload the next version to two sites for your convenience.

Couldn't help but notice you released a beta of another of your Civ mods a day before your comment, above. Does that mean it's a priority, and this one's pretty much, well, dead? I don't mind if that's the case. I'd just like to know. :)
 
no no it is defensively not dead.

i indeed put a lot of work on my second mod, but i wont neglect this one.

the thing is the last few days ive been playing company of heroes online a lot time so i didnt have time to upload, but i will this weekend max. i promise!
