Well, I'm up in Rat6 AWDG and Friday I am houseboating until Monday. I don't think I'll have the chance. I'll update if circumstances change tonight.

I guess I should start building up for an assault on Carthage.

EDIT: Hmm, is there a reason we're not in Republic yet? I've played 3 turns, and I was thinking of revolting now, but wasn't sure if we were waiting for something. Should we wait for Currency to finish? (8 turns left)
 
Pre-turn – Do some Mming and get Currency down to 12. Is there a reason we’re not in Republic yet? Carthage is in Anarchy now, btw.

330 (1) – Upgrade 3 warriors for 180 gold. Carthage is in Republic now. I think I’ll wait two more turns for some swords to finish, then revolt. Give Babylon Poly for Spices and 29 gold. We’ll need the extra luxes during anarchy. Groningen is switched to a scientist, bringing Currency down to 10 turns. Rotterdam doesn’t need a clown anymore.

310 (2) – Rotterdam sword->sword.

IBT – China asks us to move our galley. Inca complete Pyramids in Tiwanaku. Babylon starts and completes SoZ in Babylon, and start ToA.

290 (3) – Amsterdam sword->sword.

IBT – Carthage, Maya, Portugal, and China start ToA. China and Maya starts HG.

270 (4) – Eindhoven archer->sword. Send archer down to goody hut by Portuguese city (sometimes they won’t pop them, since they don’t like leaving cities undefended).

250 (5) – Groningen settler->cat. Inca have Construction now. Damn, we missed the goody hut. Send the settler north to claim the last Dyes, and a whale.

Trade Inca Republic for Constr, Incense, and 31 gold. Carthage is even with us for techs, so I’m sure he would have traded if we didn’t.

IBT – Carthage moves a galley into our territory…near Haarlem…which is undefended.

230 (6) – Amsterdam sword->sword. Babylon got Republic, but Portugal didn’t (strange, Portugal was offering us more, so I figured they’d get it, if anyone).
Trade Portugal Republic for 57 gold and 1 gpt. I also noticed they only have 3 cities.

Decide to use some of this cash. Build embassies in Carthage, Babylon, Iroquois, China, and Maya.

IBT – Carthage continues moving galleys through…I guess he’s just passing through.

210 (7) – Rotterdam sword->sword. The Hague cat->harbor.
Found Holwerd ->cat.

IBT – Mayans complete HG in Copan. The Carthage galleys were heading towards unclaimed land on the Incan/Portuguese island.

190 (8) – Lower sci to 80%, Currency still due in 3, -8 gpt.

IBT – Maya and China sign a peace treaty. Carthage starts the Great Wall.

170 (9) – Amsterdam sword->aque (can be changed to a sword). Lower sci to 70%.

150 (10) – Uh…not much.

Currency is due next turn, and then we can revolt. There are 6 swords, an archer, and 2 cats ready for the assault on Carthage…we’ll need some more, though. We could probably take back Arnhem and make peace right now, though.

(PRE) 150BC - My 1st thought is we have the lighthouse and have minimal coverage. My 2nd

thoght is that we need more settlers. Lots of ground left and we are not at war. We have 10

towns. Carthage is a problem, agreed. Let's populate though. It would have been nice to take

hanibal. I checked, our military is weak. what are we doing? It is obvious our assault on

Carthage was weak. Let's reconsider. Average to the Maya and Baby, China is weak and the rest;

the rest of the pack is strong. This is no time for a war. I was the 1st to say take Carthage,

it didn't happen. time to build. We are Amsterdam with 1 galley and lot's o'land ahead. I

can't beleive this. I have to order up galleyey's and settlers. At home we have to be science

leaders. Carthage will have to go down in time. Checked the game at hand and found 1 town good

for galley change. My George boys, we have the GL and are NOT settling? I know the carthage

was a bust. Wow, good buzz. Still looking.
Rotterdam to settler at even shields.I'm liking the island to the W-N-w. Looking at the war ,I

immediately move an archer to cut the road. Then send a warrior to check it out on an

alternate road and another warrior sword cuts the other road. I make the Hague have 1 less

growth to get a specialist sintist to drop the commission on science and we are better with

writing in 1. +3gpt and now hit the button.

IT- Wow, 1st pop-up is Hammi wanting 48g. Screw him, we will protect. Wait a minute, He can

call in the oppostion? Screwwwwww Hammi. It went OK, whew. Now Carthage wants to keep a peace

treaty. Yes! Ultrecht -Galley> Worker. Can be changed but that area neds to be worked. Palace

expansion>2nd story.


130BC - Move some workers around to get the Aquaduct in 2 and the settler in2 at even-steven.

Dice another rod Carthage was depending on and the galley in the E'stern sea heads home. We

have a galley in Ultrecht that can transport a settler and a sword on the E coast to the new

island. I change the research path to Astronomy in 4 techs. Wow, we are still despots! Pull

the trigger. 4 turns.

IT- Whoops, missed it.

110BC - Nothing good to sell and good prices. I'm in anarchy, give a break. Like a dumbass

Ichek for good shieldcounts and wonder why I'm not getting better than 9999.

70BC - A bunch of slaves finished a mine near Uthechtct - Maastrich. Some thing like that. Not

much good. That area will be bomb when we get IA, not till then.

IT - Carthage complains abou a boat. W go repub.

50BC - Work the tiles and see that Gronigen will be nice someday.

IT - A settler and a rax complete.

30BC - Need to swap from 4/4 galley to 3/3 galley. Next turn.

IT- Amserdam - Aqua> Market.

10BC - I notice plenty of people need our techs. I just noticed we suck for science. Gotta

build the cities that will be big someday. We are redy to land on the new island.

30ad - I punch 146g to expand at Eindhoven. Should reinforce that land. Move workers to mine

over irrigation going W? I can't figure that 1.

It - We are asked to build an FP. Temples and workeers are built.

50AD - Trade Hammi 1 lux + 6gpt + 32g(ahg's) for 2 lux.

Populate land to decrease our costs, Hanibel, however that dude spells it, will get it soon

enough. We have iron and horses. See where his are at.

There are a couple of empty galleys so the next player can decide what to load in them. There are a couple of swords on iron island, but one is injured. Also the cats are to the west of the island.

Everyone Hammi knows is after him now. I've seen boats from all three civs that I bought in headed toward Hammi's territory.

For one, I'm thinking about expansion while the world is at war. Keep a settler city going and expand to other islands. Watch the coast that faces Babylon for landings. Have we mapped all coastlines?
