Doughnut or donut? That is the question!

Doughnut.
And not the American Trash, the Traditional Israeli Chanuka Donut

So Iceblaze do you spell it doughnuts or donuts? You used both so American doughnuts are called coughnuts but Israeli ones are called donuts? I've never thought a topic on doughnuts would be so confusing!

won't 'donuts' be pronounced 'do-nuts' techincally?
Hehe pronounciation in English is too complex to make a statement like that :) eg. though, tough and & thought all have 'ough' but do not rhyme...

It should be doughnut, but I don't really care how you spell it as long as it has Toffee in it. (or should that be Toughee as in the pronunciation of rough)

Goodness we've gone off topic :crazyeye:

Is that, that important that we got off topic on a topic about the proper spelling of doughnuts?

I think the real issue is whether they taste good or not.

As far as I am concerned, you can call them 'Sewer Rat Pie' as long as they are tasty and yummy. ;)

And BTW, they're called 'donitsi'. :D
