It's not a built-in feature. I may install that feature though if the hack is available for vB 3.0.

Wouldn't choosing "Printable version" and then save that webpage give the same result? It wouldn't look exactly the same, but you'd get all posts into the same file.

Probably although since all threads are kept then you could just keep the link assuming that you have easy access to the internet.

Download thread however is incredibly useful and much better formatted than copynig the text in printable version. Also, can you ever imagine downloading a 4-page topic by manually copying and pasting? Or the 1000-clues topic, a gigantic topic that has swelled to over 70 pages and 1500 posts?

The 'download thread' feature is also useful if you know the thread is very old and may get deleted soon.
