yeah, ok i saw that yesterday too, its labeled "Get.php" i believe - this also didnt do anything. it wasnt zipped, and seemed far too small a file to be a mod of any kind.

Tried the link and i can download the full mod 234 MB.
Maybe some problems with your browser or pc.
 
for whatever reason, whenever i go through the download procedure with the captcha on that site, it just gives me this stupid 1kb file "Get.php" and not the listed "Community-Call-To-Power-V3.5--v-1-.rar - 233.5 MByte"

Ill come back to this in a bit. The features of your mod really inspire me, especially considering NiGHTS shows no sign of ever producing a BNW update, so i'd really like to get this resolved, especially while i have downtime (had ACL surgury a few weeks ago, and am working from home, removing an hour commute and freeing up a great deal of time for sedentary recreation lol)

Could see about creating a torrent, putting it on a public tracker and posting the magnet link for people who have it already to seed it out to others?

i could seed it if it was posted. i have never had a problem with using mirror sites like freakdownload or wahtever, but for whatever reason it produced this ridiculous problem of downloading this 'get.php' file instead of the stated file, and i exhausted my allotted public bandwidth.

When i managed to complete my goal, to get all requirements into the game, that will be needed to keep the balance alive.
I will post the overworked version.
 
Downloaded v3.5 last night, played up until turn 90 or so to see how it was. I played on a large map (Amazon forest), as the Byzantines, on prince difficulty.

So let's see, I'm sitting here in between uni classes now, and this is what I can remember off the top of my head. There were a few random bugs and some moderate balancing errors:

- Some resources do not show up in-game (meaning, I can see they're there via the resource view / hovering the mouse over the hex, but the tile doesn't seem to have actually loaded. I remember seeing mango trees looking like a regular tile of grassland, for instance.
- Some resources seem to do nothing at all. Not sure if I just didn't advance far enough to build an improvement over the resource or something, but maybe the game should let me know that.
- Ruins are way too common. If that's part of the map script, then never mind. However, I kept finding tons of ruins far into the game, which lead me to believe...
- That I seemed to be the only player really exploring the map. Hardly ever saw AI scouts roaming the map.
- Too many barbarians. Also, they spawn very fast and seemingly without limit. May also be a map problem though, not sure. I noticed some AIs' economic growth was being severely hampered by the amount of barbarian hordes attacking.
- Couldn't upgrade my warriors into spearmen for some reason. This led to a lagging military for most players.
- Town names (the sprite that hovers over cities) kept showing up in the foreground, in front of the UI. Occasionally made it kind of annoying trying to select things on the UI.
- AIs never really interacted with me, or each other. This kind of made the game feel rather empty.

Again, some of these may just be map errors. I can play some more games to test if need be.

Thanks for the feedback, but please next time post it under working version or when you have discovered some bugs, in the bug report thread.
Jip 3.5 at this state has some balance problems and grafic glitches.
For example, if you enable wild barbarians, and play on prince the ai will get problems with the barbarian, but normally not the human player.
Some other settings are rather planned or need yust tweaking.
For the ais not interacting with you, i see no reason why or why not the should work with you.
The ais play for there goal, and this means sometimes its quite unless someting importnat happens.

Yes, I just felt the barbarians were excessively powerful for a balanced game. There were so many that I spent more time fighting them off than anything else in the game. Not sure if I could have beaten them all without taking out a few honor policies.

Its a bug that version 3 and 3.5 are showing up. Pleace only enable 3.5, the modern techtree is broken in this version, thats known but its fixed for the upcomming release tomorrow.
So maybe you wait one day for the next version or give the last buggy version a chance.

My questions are:
1. If I wanna play with the BNW, I need to download the CCTP 4.01 and the "CCTP_BNW_TWEAK v1" too? Because I got a " CvGameCore_Expansion2.dll" crash if I use the CCTP_TWEAK (even if I delete cache and moduserdata).
Without CCTP_BNW_TWEAK v1, I can start a new game at least.
2. So the 4.01 is standalone right, and I don't need any other version?
3. Which DLC pack I have to use with your mod (Polynesia, Babylon, Inca/Spain etc...)?

Yes lot of old version out there.
For a better understanding the first stand alone version for BNW was called 4.01.
Iam right now in my current test game with 4.02 (1105 rounds, and astronomy is 15 rounds a head). Iam saying this because 4.01 has some nasty bugs.
Didnt got the time for play testing, but iam on a good way.

But back to your question. Iam not sure what happened if you play this game without the dlcs i have (have all civs and wonders). At least you should not get any mayor problem.

With the release of 4.02 many mayor bugs where fixed and some additional changes where done.
But in my test game i also encountered some problems due my work when i was tired.:D
