I'm going to keep working on it, but I think he'll make a better product. So that's why. I'm just not experienced enough with modeling from scratch yet. But like I said, I'll keep at it because I want to see it get done.

Cool, I didn't know about these units (I sort of figured you would make the Numidian Cavalry, but the other two are complete suprise).

I have your Elephant units. Its been eions since you made those. How are you going to redo them?

Well, there's a lot of things wrong with them... just to name a few: palettes (I need to refine them), shadows (there are none in game, a palette issue again), and they're at the wrong angle. In fact every unit up to the Jomon Warrior is rendered at the wrong angle. It's not a big difference, but it's big enough that you can see it in game.

So the over all way the units are made will stay the same. The animations will be basically the same, but cleaner. But if you have any suggestions for how the actual units could be improved in terms of what they do, how they look, speak now.

I'd shrink the size of the units slightly to match up with the CIV3 War Elephant.

Hmm, yeah, they are a bit big at that...

I think, they should be reduced to 90% of the current size. The foot units could also be a bit smaller. Maybe 92%?

All of them? Really? I was measuring them against Firaxis units, and they looked fine to me.

The old elephant units in any case 90%. I'm not sure about the food units. They could be a tiny bit smaller. But 92% are probably too much.

Here is a pic. It's not much. But if you are sure about the size. Let it like it is. Better a bit too big then too small.

I need a team of people! Or at the very least a second computer so I can be rendering on one and modeling on the other!

I have somebody to do the FLICs... but I still have to do all the rendering, posing, etc. myself. I just feel like to completely fill the unit list, it's going to take a VERY long time.... and there's so much great stuff I want to do or have done... it's just frustrating.

Maybe you should but the Flying Tiger on hold for now....and do the easier units first. No need to stress yourself out.

Aaglo...I haven't seen him on Civfanatics for at least a week. I hope he hasn't quit being a Civfanatic....That would be simply horrible...no new ships...

The one advantage of Boats over land units is that they don't require as many animations to look good though.
