Very nice Curt :)

Do all your works have heroic themes?

The art I have put up mostly takes place in a fantasy setting,
but I cover modern-day stuff too...Like this other comic...!

I am having the feeling that the stuff that I would draw would fall under modern-day, Science Fiction Space Wars, and/or Cyberpunk themes.

Most likely...I would recommend doing some sketches, if you get the chance.

Your stuff would be interesting, going by your good taste in anime.

Here's a poster from a few years ago.

I have nothing new to post. I lack the tools. Need to save money for a new Graphire or Intuos.

@Rheinmetall:

I would love to see some of your classic images posted again, especially
that painting of Vivec city from Morrowind...It was a beautiful work.

Any chance of seeing these?

:)

I don't know about beautiful but here it is.

Does anyone have good suggestions for a Wacom board. A6 Graphire 4 costs 120€.

I still dont know how to digitaly paint. I have PSP8 but yet dont know how to color like that or any of the other OS-tan images that I come across.
Assuming the PSP has a layer feature (Since most decent art programs do these days) Just add a layer on top of your drawing, make it semitransparent (I go with 70-80% opacity) and then draw solid colours onto it. From there, you can put another layer over top of that for shading everything. That's how things have been shaping up for me. First layer for lines, second for colour, third for shading.

PSP has all the necessary layer features you'll ever need. However I haven't used layers at all in my paintings. Painter has nonexistant layer features. It's pretty much like the real thing. When you make a mistake you have to paint over it. Only 25 undo's IIRC.

@Rheinmetall:

It is an awesome bit of work! I had it saved before, but I don't what happened to it.

You captured the mood of the game so well, better than the game itself.

:yeah:

Exactly why I've gone with digital art and layers, to get arround all the limits that physical work creates. Besides, with the right program and enough practice you can emulate the more pleasant excentricities of the real tools. :)

I still feel using tools that do your work for you for a single push of a button is cheating. You need more practice without layers and such. Sure it may be work but I think the reward of the finished work is greater too. That way I can accomplish something other people may not be able to emulate.

I usually limit my layer usage for image-editing.

Well, I'll just agree to differ on the subject. I'm just looking for ways to lay the products of my immagination out for all to see, and if 'cheating' smooths the process, then cheat I shall.

Here is a new image I created this weekend for a friend's comic.

Indeed, the MW image is a real fave of mine.

Brings me many good memories of travels in Vvardenfell.

:)

Rheinmetall: Gorgeous pic, thanks for posting it again for those who missed it the first time :goodjob:

Thanks. I don't know about the gorgeous. It still could use some finishing touches.
