Did you choose "No technology broken" ?

I tried again with House Atreides, it seems initial AI's attitude to human player is not high, at least on Emperor , so it's very difficult to trade technology ,and if AI can trade technologies with each other ,humen player will behind AI very quickly..

Come to think of it, turning off "technology brokering" might be part of why I've been finding even single-player DW to be a bit harder than vanilla. I know in vanilla I am usually "trading techs aggressively" myself, by which I mean getting tech from all of the civs and redistributing it for my own profit and superiority.

I consider this somewhat of an exploit, because the AI neither does the same thing nor ever gets wise to it or tries to counter it. As soon as I saw the option I immediately turned it on to prevent myself from basically cheating, and then I went about playing my games without thinking about why it suddenly seems harder, lol.

Just finished playing as Liet-Kynes while trying to get a terraforming victory (for the first time I might add). Not only did I set a new personal best score, but this particular game turned out to be the most fun and challenging one yet. Too bad I ended up winning diplomatically...

Finally a terraforming victory (although this is only the second time trying for it). I have to say that these last two games have been the most fun. Forests on Dune - Pardot Kynes would be proud!

Hey guys, we all know Dune Wars rocks (dispute this assertion I dare you). The AI is definitely better (since Deliverator updated the AI to BBAI 1.?) but I am a pretty quick learner. Had to go down to Monarch level but the score speaks for itself. New high score - yah!
