These are the only Dwarves we will have for sometime. We are exiled and no one can find us yet.

Our exiled Dwarves in all their glory. Lord Iggi is horribly frustrated with this terrible wilderness.

Our starting location looks decent enough. We have a stream, lots of trees and sand for glass making. Once we find a good location to dig. Which may just be straight down. The Lostboys will have to secure the lodgings from terrible jungle beasts.

Our food stores are not accurately kept. Lord Iggi determines them to be as shown above.


Players: I want your input on things to build, where to build them and so on.

Only if there is magma in this location. Which it rarely is. I may find one deep down but that will take a lot of exploration and getting us closer to the demon pits.

"And it's all because you INSISTED on that rebellion against those new dwarves."

"Not entirely." noted Iggi, "It was there fault for showing up. One of them wanted our money."

"That one was a tax collector. You've been killing all of them as they come along, actually."

"Good times. Now, this is the place. Get digging!"

"What about you? You're a miner?"

"Of course I am. Pickaxe carrier! Fetch me my adamantium axe!"

atleast there are no goats. Child-Slaughter came of age and left the war job to fish.

The farm area is to the left. I rewalled it to both use up chalk blocks and to make it look better and section off different purpose farm plots. The two 6 tile ones grow Plump Helmet's (mushrooms) the other two grow cave wheat and sweet pods.

Thlayli practicing his marksdwarfship at the archery range. The thing at the top of the skinny hall way is a wooden target. The little line is a bolt mid flight. The room to the left is a room for storing bolts.

It appears the King has a king heart. He sends us a caravan from our old fortress with many goods. We had to hurriedly erect a solid glass trading depot. We have nothing to trade but some of the armor we had on our backs and a cage full of useless muskox.

Iggy was to stuck up in his work and told the caravan to get out before we murder them. They left without trading.

The glass water tank. This tank is meant to hold any aquatic animals we want. It is being filled right now by the bucket brigade. You have to go to the surface and down into the aquatic room to see into the glass walls of the tank. It is not connected to the fortress at this time.

EDIT: He just killed one in 1 shot to the head. Perhaps luck is on his side?
