I am really happy about prescripted evented like Curtiss or Dragon's liar so i would know if it is possible in a future release for example to add random events which are actived by specific conditions in the game.
Some examples:
"Retaliation" event
X civ has razed your city Y.We have known about atrocities committed in the city.Torture,rape,mass executions have been applied on a massive scale.
People calls for vengeance.
Effects:
-You need to raze at least 2 enemy cities to appease population, if you sign a peace treaty you will get 2 unhappy faces
- You are forced to use civic X
It is actived when:
-Relation with X civ are really negative
-after enemy raze one of your city there is a 10% chance that the event is actived
"Holy Crusade" event
It is actived when:
- X civ attacks Y civ which has the city with the holy shrine of your civ religion
-1% chance every turn since the war between Xciv and Yciv continue
Effects:
-You are forced to use civic Crusade
-a treaty of alliance between you and Yciv is enabled
- a fixed modifier of +2 between you and YCiv applies
-Xciv and Yciv are less willing to come to terms for a peace treaty
-all the temples or religious building in your cities which are of the same religion of your enemy civ are destroyed
-in cities which share the same religion of your enemy a percentage from 0-25% of population is killed
"Deadly Plague event"
After a lot of years of unhealthiness in your city has spread a new disease which is highly infective and deadly unfortunately no cure has been yet found
It is actived when:
-In your city you have unhealthiness for at least 25, there is a chance of 30% that the event is actived
Effects:
- -6 food for city which has the plague
- 2% chance for every turn to spread inside your other cities
- 1% chance for turn with foreign cities which whom affected city has a trade route
