Earth 1862 AD

I agree that the CSA requires a little help. Especially since the USA has Artillery and the CSA does not.

At this point int eh civil war, the south (CSA) had the "better" generals, yet fewer men and less industry.

I feel the CSA needs another army in the west and a more even tech footing with the USA.

Starting as the Union, I noticed having Artillery plus the ability to build Anti Tank infantry.

(Playing as the British however, I noticed the US Civil War ended in 1865 with just one city falling to the Union, so their advantage isn't that great - could be just AI stupidity, ofcourse...):cowboy:

In my version of the scenario I actually chnaged anti-tank to be available later, with Modern Armor (but may change it to tank). No t sure why its artillery anyways. And I got rid of the artillery tech for all civs because i felt that was more of a WW1 era weapon.

To balance hte generals I also added military academy's to richmond and charleston (renamed tallahassee) but I gave the union's NYC West Point.

I'll update the scenario with some of your'e suggestions.

Made a very small update, added a Artillery tech to the CSA, moved Union's fleet to Florida\Louisiana and added some CSA units.

More than 1150 downlads!!!

added Artillery? what about the anti-tank infantry? I'd recommend getting rid of artillery since its more of a WW1 thing. But I'll see how it balances out (atleast how others experience, I notice in mine no artillery helps out).

Also maybe mehmed would be a better garibaldi, looks more similar to the old guy.

Regardless, its an awesome scenario :b:

I think that Garibldi looks a lot like Brennus:

(But then, who can?)
My first scenario, Earth 1790 has more than 2600!

Great scenario, thanks.

Your about to get some more downloads. I was just looking for a good American Civil War era scenario, and lo and behold, you've already made it! Can't wait to try it out. I'll probably grab that 1790 one as well!

I just completed a game as the Americans, and I've got to say that this scenario was pretty cool. I enjoyed fighting the civil war mostly, and then building an American colonial empire on the ashes of the old European ones. >:O

But enough of my exploits.

There was one major problem with this scenario... I teched way too fast, playing on Prince level. I had a very large army composed of Tanks, Marines, Carriers, Fighters, and Bombers by 1885. Needless to say, I completly destroyed the AI's infantry and rifleman units.

Other than that, it was alright. I think I might give the Confederates a go this time, see how far I can get with them.

the confederates are fun. I was never a fan of the CSA but the what if part is real appealing. I managed to win the civil war after taking chicago, LA, and detroit, but then gave some detroit back to US to get on their good side. i then embarked on an African empire taking on Charlemagne's colonies there. Its a fun route to go.
