East Indies Scenario Idea

The map looks great lenin :goodjob: Think you could upload it? :)

Jungles are good. I suggest most natives recieve Woodsman promotion (double movement in jungle/forest) so that the europeans will have a harsh time moving throught the territory :)

Yes i will upload it the custom map section when it will be finish and i can give you pic of the starting position civ to :)

P.S I will surely realese it in the sametime then my Seven War scenario ;)

So we have 2 options:

1) Asian cities peacefully convert to the Europeans

or (a spin-off of easyseeker's idea)

2) We give the Europeans a lot of gold and they will "buy" cities from the natives.

Either one will do, but I doubt we are at the serious modding stage.
Great work the both of you,
Lenin, the maps are beyond anything I could have done
Easyseeker, I am anxious to see the new civs.

As for the starting locations, I will have those to you shortly.

I think it will be easier to do option 2, but i doubt the AI will know how to use the money yo buy native cities

I also gave you the Portuguese and Dutch starting location. ;)
Note that there will be overlap between empires when I give them to you.
This is because the same land will be owned by different Empires throughout the game.

Here is the Delhi Sultanate.
and if you didn't already know Lenin, easyseeker is already modding a seperate Delhi Sultanate.

They started with the blue territory, then expanded to the red, then the green.
If you could have the Rajputs be a city state in that hole in the map you see southwest of the blue, that would be great.

Here is Majapahit. The Green Box is their territory.
The Blue is the land they had control over, and everything else in the box represents vassal state. You can represent those with puppet states.

I will have more starting points soon...

Great :goodjob:

In any case, could lenin upload a picture of how the starting positions would look on the map? It'd give me a better idea of what bonuses to give to each civ.

When I'll have done about 3 civs, I'll PM them to you, ShahJahan :)

Nice to know you do the civ :goodjob:, if its not to much to ask i will love if you can have a look to my modded civ it dont show up in game and i dont know why :(

Theres the mod below

Are you modding the Timurids?
If you haven't started, don't do so, I realized I was politically incorrect when I said they were involved in the area. The were actually more involved in Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan.
If you have started on them, that is fine, finish it anyway and I can think of a way to implement them.

Nope, didn't start work on those, however, as I said:

- 'revised' India (Delhi Sultanate)
- revised British trait
- Portugal
- Netherlands

Should be available today around 18:00 GMT :)

EDIT: ninja'd me Lenin. I'll take a look at your modded civ. :) Also, just in case: you *did* enable your mod from the mod browser, right?

Lenin is probably right about the AI not being smart enough to buy cities.
We could use the 1st option for the AI and the 2nd for human players.

Easyseeker just sent me Delhi and Portugal.
They look great, Lenin, I would like to see a map of the civ placements.
I will be back with more starting locations later.

There are the new pic with the ressource placement

Note: the strategic ressource are placed but you cant see it

Two more things to do on the map

1- The river, i must try to refind a great web site that show all the river of the world

2- Put the start location of the starting civ (you will need to send me the civ to include in a mod, would be great if eazyseeker can mod it in a pack already)

Theres the pic

ok will fix that

Be sure to give the Chinese plenty of silk.
Also, please make resources of the same kind closer to each other.
Keep up the good work.

P.S. Upload your map, so everyone who wants to help can use that as a start. I will update the OP with it.

Here is the Bangla starting position.
I would like a few, very large cities.
Make one of these slightly smaller than the rest, as it will be the Danish port soon.

Spoiler :

I've decided I would rather have Kandy and Jaffna as city states.
Purple is Kandy (Which I think should be a 2-city city-state, any more than that would be a stretch) and Jaffna, a single city-state. These should spawn from the remains of the Chola empire.

Just think of something, its me or we wont be able to put those civ on the map since we lack the modding skill to made them spawn?

Cause for now I cant put starting location for different date for now they will only spawn on the map at the same time

Hope you understand what i mean

Lenin probably meant that he lacks the 'skill' to make civilizations spawn at their correct historical date (like in RFC). In any case, very good job on the map, lenin, but I'd.. prefer if you'd just focus on making it as realistic as possible (you seem to be a great map maker) and I will worry about civilizations and starting dates, mkay? :)
