I have seen this said many times and was wanting to know if anyone actual has a formual or number of tiles that it consists of. In this post i am talking about the zone of control of the palace and forbidden palace. Thanks

I believe that this zone of control applies to enemy units moving through adjacent tiles to the city in question.

ok sorry i phrased the question wrong, the zone of control i am talking about is corruption level, people say if you build your cities withing the zone of control of the palace or forbidden palace the corruption is less, what is the distance or formula of determining that zone of control. thanks

I dont really think theres any real "zone of control", just the farther you go out from your capital/ forbidden palace the more corruption increases. It's not like if you put a city 5 tiles away from your capital itll have 0 corruption, but if you put it 6 away you will have full corruption. It just gradually gets larger.

There is not a 'zone of control' per se. Alternately, the zone of influence of a P or FP is 'infinite'.

A great thread that describes corruption, and how the Palace and Forbidden Palace work in the context of corruption by Alexman can be found in the strategy articles forum titled "Do You Think You Understand Corruption":
