Elections for Pre-game Council - Veterns

This is the election for three of the five poistions on the Pre-game Council. This council will handle all pre-game organization and planning (per the citizens requests). The top 3 vote getters will be the winners. In the event of a tie, a run-off will be posted.

You may choose from one of the following candidates:
Strider
Ginger_Ale
Nobody
Daveshack
mhcarver
Black_Hole

Ok its a hard choice, it came down to strider and daveshack, But Ginger_ale or Mhcarver would also do fine jobs. In the end i voted Daveshack because although i normally agree with strider, it seems i am the only one and i want a smoth goverment growing process.

i did not vote for my self as i though this might establish a nice precedent

Okay, this is going to be a first for me. I usually do not campaign or do the whole VOTE FOR ME crap during elections. Actually, I have a strict policy of never self-nominating myself. Anyway, I haven't done something like this for almost 2 years, so give me a break. I feel, with all of the newer players, that an introduction is in order.

So, I am an extremely sexy 17 year old male. Black hair. Toned body, use to play football (american).

Okay fine, real introduction this time (although that is all true )

Anyway, I joined the Civ3 DG back during the first pre-game discussions. With the exception of Chieftess (she doesn't count ), I am the oldest Demogame player. So, I do have experience in starting up a new type of Demogame. I also have almost 4 years of experience in creating DG-related constitutions (look.. I've been here awhile).

I am currently credited for several bits and pieces of the DG3 constitution (acouple of the articles are my ideas, but written differantly). I am, quite possibly, one of the greatest constitution creators around some time. Even the opposition can't resist stealing my framework, organization, and ideas (look back at the end of DG5, start of DG6).

I'm just going to stop there, as that is all the important information. Anything could just be considered showing off.

BTW, incase you guys haven't noticed, I have a weird habit of writing (or typing.. you get the idea) like I would talk. So most of my posts are how I talk. If you want to say I have bad grammer, then I'll shove an umbrella down your throat. Then open it.

Anyway i am 21, 6"3 and i do still play american football. (although in New Zealand) plus i am still relatively new to the demogame (compared to the rest of the list) i am good at monopoly and i like the sopranos. So Vote for me rather than these bozos, AS far as having the game i dont because of a world wide conspricy to keep me down. You see New Zealand is last to get the game and its only on DVD, what can i say . VOTE NOBODY or atleast DONT VOTE FOR BLACKHOLE

Never said I was modest, although I'll go along with the beutifull. Anyway, that statements likely to haunt me, but what's done is done. Everyone makes a mistake some time or another, you just have to make sure you can take the fall with minimal injury.

Give me a break, I just got 2 lbs. of physics slammed into my head (quite literally.. it's a heavy book). Also, I just learned that your suppose to eat beef stew with bread. I always just grabbed a spoon and started shoveling the stuff into my mouth.

A brief biography ... I started lurking the CFC forums in September 2002 (despite my join date - I was a chatroom regular for a while, so the people knew me) - the first DG I lurked was DG3. I still remember the victory turnchat with Bootstoots (he gave me some 'wine' (from the game) to drink and said not to get drunk ). I kept on lurking DG4 (as the French) and finally registered for DG5. Served as governor for a couple turns. In DG6 I also served as governor for a while. In DG7 I pushed for a 5BC (5 built city variant - you can only build 5 cities) instead of the normal Epic game.

So vote for me - if only because I spell better than Strider (though all the applicants are qualified).

Well I joined at the beginning of Demogame 4...
I have large experiance with constitution creation and interperation.

I have been in all of the Judiciary positions(Chief Justice, Judge Advocate, Public Defender). I have been a judicial member about 7-10 times...

I wrote the DG6 constitution(I didn't come up with the concepts, but the actual wording)

I wouldn't have done an introduction, but since so many others are...

My DG experience started with lurking the final days of Civ3 DG2. The game was so near completion that it didn't seem right to muscle in, not to mention the new CD smell was still on my vanilla Civ3. I've served as an elected official in every DG since, holding almost every elected office, and contributed to the rulesets to varying degrees for DG4 thru DG7.

and as far as constitution writeing goes i had an attempt at organising one last civ3 demogame, but really it was a bit slack. anyway give me another shot and VOTE NOBODY .... i suporse you could VOTE BLACKHOLE if you want.
