Eliminate Post Count!

Eh, it reminds me - and others - how much time I spend on here. :( ;)
Try getting yourself banned for a week. You might come back posting a bit less fervously. It worked for me (er well I didn't intend to get in trouble at all and I was only banned for about 30 hours but whatever). Of course, don't get banned on purpose--it won't be natural and such.

There are two actually...

Triple Stripe or Vocal Desire ring a bell? :ack: (Ugh the second one is so bad, thank God TF didn't change it !!)
Terrible names! Especialy Vocal Desire. What a fruity name ;) Of course, had you been Triple Stripe and said "I really like this one Zelda game for the n64 (assuming you named yourself with that reasoning), and my first name is Chris (or Craig, or Chad, Chudly, Cecil, Clyde, or whatever the hell your name is), so I'm going to rename myself CGannon64", I would find that pretty hokey.

Now that you mention it, a namechange Triple Stripe is something I rememeber.

 I actually remember those. We all know you what you are now. It would be like when Sultan switched :p

Or when Knight-Dragon switched. :p

Who is he? :hmm:

You have changed to the coolest avatar around here, I see. :cooool: Except mine. :p

Probably closer to a month but nevertheless it was very surprising to see Antonius Block on the friends list. I was about to PM Thunderfall about how he shouldn't be adding friends to my own list ;)

Noo! Do you have any idea how much campaigning it took me to get PC showing? It is far from a meaningless statistic, it is a fine representation of a poster's activness (below average - average - high - spammer - cgannon64 :p). Don't make me put it back in my location field and have to keep updating it please!

It's a pity the mods got to him. There's a warning in there. If you spam/troll/flame too much they're gonna get you ;)

You did like that? Man, what a real trouble!

What do people do nowadays to get theirselves rakned high?

I think I was the last one to have my name changed and keep it :p

Well, castrated, not really changed :mischief:

You mean it wasn't there originally?

When I first joined, it was shown. Then for a long while, TF decided to keep it hidden.

Then threads like 'why can't we see the PC' kept appearing on a regular basis until it was reenabled.

Anybody wanting a voluntary restriction can ask for it I supposed... We can even do sectional restrictions i.e. restricting fr certain forums only.

Perhaps in the edit profile place there can be a checkbox saying "show postcount" so people can choose whether to keep their postcount hidden or not.

Somehow I have a feeling that this will be an option in the mythical vB3.0 ;)
