I haven't seen this anywhere else (and I don't know where the question should go...), but is there a list somewhere of the effects Special Features have on the Elohim? I know some:

  • Sirona's Beacon -- Spiritual Trait
  • Pool of Tears -- Expansive Trait
  • Remnants of Patria -- Industrious Trait
  • Odio's Prison -- Reset World Spell (only once?)

Are there any other things? I like this feature, I'm just wondering which ones I should be making a beeline for :)

Also, do you have to be the first to land on it?

I asked the same question a while back here is the answers I got...

The answer that best fits your question
First time a player moves on, if he's an Elohim. It's tracked by PlayerFeats (the same sort that track whether you've cast your worldspell) - so every Elohim player can benefit if there are multiple in the game. It could effect other civs/players, but currently only the Elohim (and I think Scions?) have events setup for visiting unique features.

For the sake of completeness, The Pool of Tears, Sirona's Beacon, Mirror of Heaven, Remnants of Patria, Odios Prison and Bradelines Well all have events associated with the Elohim visiting. Not all of these are trait gains and one (Bradeline's Well) doesn't give you anything directly, just allows you to remove a fairly evil feature from the game (converts it to Spirit Mana, no longer forces Hell Terrain to the tile - can be sanctified as normal).

I think you got the only 3 trait events.

- Bradelines Well sancifies the well and removes the hell terrain it creates and changes the entropy mana to spirit mana
- Mirror of Heaven adds +1 :) to all your cities I believe
- Odio's Prison resets the World Spell only once, but you get the event EVERY time you visit it UNTIL you cast your world spell. Then the next time it actually does reset the spell and stops bugging you when you go to it which is good. I had workers build a road to it REAL early one game and I thought I wasted it but I didn't it knows you didn't need it yet.

Personally I like this aspect of their race.

I think more races should get 1 or 2 events for visiting various unique locations that fit their race. Malakin and the Mirror of the Heavens for instance and the Elohim should get more, even if they are small events like a free warrior/worker/scout or small xp boost to the unit that gets there or +1 population in their capital. Maybe unlock the ability to build a particular building.

okay I WAS thinking of FF when I wrote that... I haven't played Malakin in FF+ yet.
