Embassy with "Die Küche"

Seems good to me.

We must inform you about the risk that Küche will be the last party to complete their tasks. We will not receive a "free" technology and we will also not have the advantage of cheap libraries, that allow Eagles and Anarchie to increase their pace."[/i]

Not so sure about that. Anarchie might find themselves in trouble in the near future.

Kuche can research theology or invention. The less gold that needs to trade hands the better, as that slows down research.

One thing to keep in mind, the Anarchie has offered to give us their MA bonus tech just for the tech alliance. Yup. Give it to us.

The Kitchen, OTOH says they want to pay 50% of our bonus techs. In the case of both us and Anarchie getting the same bonus tech, the Kitchen will pay Anarchie 25% and us 25%.

So is it possible for us to get Anarchie's bonus for free (have the Kitchen pay for theirs) plus get 50% of our bonus from the Kitchen? Should we charge Anarchie? :)

How shall we work the free techs?

Anarchie gives us theirs, we give them ours. Kuche pays 25% to each of us.

The 25% only applied if both we and Anachy get the same bonus tech. Otherwise, Kitchen pays 50%

What civilization is Anarchy anyway? Have they told us?

Sorry I haven't contributed much to the tech discussions, trying to negotiate a complex tech deal is not my strong point. I prefer, if you will, applying these technologies to expand without settlers.

That like waiting for someone to buy gasoline for your car, is it not? :D

Ok, now I'm onboard. My mistake...

Just send the World map. They don't need our territory map. If they demand it, then we can get back down on our knees and present it to them. Until then just the World map.

From Kueche:

Dear Eagles,

another week has vanished. Altought all three parties seem to agree that we want the agreement we still donnot have an agreement that all three parties did explicitly agree to. Where is the progress?

Best wishes,

yours sincerely, Civbot the service robot

My reply:

Is there need to set up a formal agreement?

You are right that all parties obviously agree.

If you feel need to set up such a formal agreement, please go ahead. I fear that I am very short in time currently. :(

The Kitchen proposes that their last proposal be the final agreement. It was previously posted in post 180 of this thread and can still be found there in it's original format. If we agree to this proposal, and the Anarchie also agree, it will be set in stone.

The technologies will be researched in the upper order, will be exchanged immediatly when researched and all technologies are not permitted to be passed in any way to the Knights. In the case of same bonus techs Küche will pay 25% of the cost to Anarchia and Eagles.

The Republic needs to be higher up on Küche's order. Mysticism is useless.

And you haven't let me in the CiFo Eagles group yet. :p
You are in, Bowsling. My apologies for taking so long. I thought I would get a CiFo notification, as Civfanatics does.

The Kitchen is researching the Republic now. They should be about the half way mark or so, I think. And we already have Mysticism. Here's a link to an earlier post in this thread that may help explain the tech situation.

Interesting that Kuche is going the ICS route, while we are expanding our land more rapidly. We shouldn't have to worry about any conflicting spheres of interest anytime soon, the inland sea is by all rights ours.
