Escape From Zombie Island 2 ready for public consumption

I would really like help on that front thanks. There's a few that need done as you will see by looking at the Science Advisor screen. If there's any take your fancy I'd be grateful. :)

I really like the second one but they're both great please post 'em and I'll put them in the next version. Sorry I can't list any just now as I'm not at my home PC and my memory isn't very good. Can you do resource icons? I need plenty of them.
 
Sure. pedia and in game? i'll post them as packs ie. survivors, zombies..., or would you rather as i make 'em. and should i post 'em here or in the completed modpacks forum (that is the right forum, isn't it :confused:?)

anyway, glad you like em :D. i gotta sleep now. footy game for the school tomorrow. good old aussie rules :cool: :king:

Still awaiting the promised music ... I have yahoo account and apparently it bounced back to him ... will keep you all updated ... in the mean time I will go through units and work on missing sound files ....

Yes both pedia and in game would be excellent: Junk Food; Heavy Weapons; Chainsaws; Pilots - and all the rest. Just do the ones you like, no pressure.

You should post them in the Graphics Mod Pack and just put a link here. I'd be interested to see how other modders will use them.

@fe3333au - I am having to work faster than usual to keep up with you - but I'm not complaining. Thanks for the link to the screams sounds. I managed to get background sounds to work now after tweaking the settings of each file as suggested by Vuldacon
 
Just getting caught up with all the new work done here. I really enjoyed the first implementation of this scenario and really want to play again with the new tweaks. Question: Should I just download what is on the main page, or should I add the additions explained and linked to a couple pages ago as well?

You will first need to download again from the main page. The update is optional but it contains a number of tweaks such as the space race victory for the Company and Wheeled Monster Zombies (helps survival a lot!). When applying the update, unzip to a different location from and manually copy over the files to the Escape From Zombie Island 2 folder. I planned to release another update tomorrow but I'll probably wait for LizardmenRule to finish some graphics- you could wait for this update and get everything in one handy download.

ARGH!!! I dont know what you did, but somehow it's become Highly improbable to win as the company.

But with all the changes made, you should DEFINNATLY get rid of regicide. In every game i've played the survivours always get wiped out when all thier heroes get killed. (Come to think of it, i think this is why i can win as the corp.)

And if its not too much trouble add in Marshal Law & a riot cop (starting unit) for the Authroties, and some sutibally named gov for the Company.
 
I don't know about another gov, things are complicated enough now as it is... letting them get sheer determination at some point might be a good idea... Are they scientific? (The Company that is) That would certainly help them I think.
 
I agree with phant, there should be some kind of unit authority can build at the beginning, like a normal police man or something. I've been thinking about it SWAT team should made stronger and avialiable after some research is done. and let the cop have 5/5 status and SWAT a little stronger than that. After all, I think there are normal cop in the city rihgt? or make a wonder that produce a police unit(not very strong of corase) like that.
 
An immediately buildable police unit makes sense, although I don't know if graphics are available. Perhaps SWAT could be somewhat strengthened, but not too much - Authorities are already clearly stronger than the Company (well, they should be!).

For Wonders - how about, at the Fast Food Joint, The Grill? (Do they all have to be eponymous?) It could cause pollution, but also happiness and perhaps count as a granary.

It's too bad the Military Base can't allow you to build elite units. :(

I'm playing a new game as the Survivors. I thought it was going to be easy this time. I torched the Graveyard, retook the School, captured the Hospital and the Factory... that's when the Zombies started really hitting the other factions, and took the Factory away from me! Hannibal Smith only barely escaped by jumping into my first Mean Machine and escaping with a couple HPs left, after everyone else was killed.

I was able to get a round of Mean Machines built, though, which has allowed me to preserve the rest of my buildings. As soon as I can get half a dozen defensive units together, I'm heading back to the Factory.
 
Wow my scaly friend you make darn good icon graphics ... I think a prefer the 2 faces between the dna helix ... so just as a learning curve thing ... do tech icons have to be a specific size? or will any jpeg do?
