This one could use either Lara Croft or Mara Jade as a model, a best way to use her is to have the company get her in the end but it's not possible to have a single unit appear at a late stage... Might be present from the start, might be popped as a military great leader from a black ops.

Helen Blackhill, grade Y company operativ.
"So how does one become the deadliest company assasins, how does one get
his own custom gun and the privilige to answer directly to the director?
It's not worth it man, it's not worth the s**t i've gone trough.
I was involved in the incident when the company tried to take over a small african country of Bamzidra and i was the only one that survived the massacre when the black-ops goons were slaughtered by a the russian secret service. The company could not afford to mess with the whole commie goverment and abandoned that piece of land along with their employees.
I fought my way back trough the jungle and got back home stown away on a ship. Now, when those company bastards got a hold of me they said that i was to be tested on my capabilities and other bulls**t, secret test my a**, i just knew too much of their illegal doings. The offered me a position amongst the most elite 'black' operatives and i know what would happen if i refuse.
While subjecting me to a 'genetic enhacment' program they also made sure that they could make me die with one push of a remote controller so now i'm just a tool in their hands.
Trough all the cr**p i was sent to clean up this 'necro virus' is the sickest thing yet, the company will pay someday but i have no way of breaking free."
I know this unit is more on the sci-fi border, and ***** are already occupying that niche but she is a bit in the resident evil games style, don't you think? Maybe she could break free after losing a battle with the 'techie' guy from the survivors(enslavement rule)? He could just remove a the death chip from her and she could join the good side.
And here is a good jeep unit:

and a short civilopedia entry:
"When the national guard was mobilised in paradise city they lacked heavy weaponry and had no vehicles save a few jeeps used for patrolling and in city parades. They were used as a mobile machine gun posts and could also crush zombies by just running over them."
I also thought about the 'hawking' company leader to upgrade to a experimental power armour suit at the end but that could be straying too far from the theme. There are a lot of good powered armour graphics available.
And what would you think about a single zombie that retained human thoughts and is fighting on the good side? The Xombie cartoons were awsome, and i thought that such a unit might be fun.
