Can't sleep so thought I'd muse about frustrations with the Company

1. Can only set slider to 50% Max for Science ... I believe that it should go higher due to all the labs and experience with the virus research ie. the R&D nature of the company :sad:

2. I think that the unrest for citizens is too high ... I've had 2 buildings go into riot, and I'm not even past Day 1 yet ... Warehouse had pop of 1 :confused: and HQ had 2 units guarding (max for unrest control effect) and then went into riot :crazyeye:
 
Yeah, the unrest comes too easily. Too many times I've had about 5 people making funny faces and telling jokes to the single guy who just wasn't content enough (and was thereby the sole reason for the whole building to go nuts...) =)
And when I finally cheered him up/ reassigned him to entertain others, some unhappy other citizen pops up to ruin the mood...

The unrest can really got to you. I hate that... why do they wana go to peace and let zombie eat them.....(talking to myself) But that's what make the game fun.

When all the citzens are unhappy, like when I capture a high population building, the only way if to starve them? because even if only one if working, they still riot. So I either put all of them looters or nerd and LET THEM STARVE.


Btw, yeah there is 6 kings for ZOMBIE, yep, although survivor have around 4 I remember. :), so it's possible to capture research lab, because the land around it are proabably the best and then kil the zombies at other place, or maybe not, as it'll destory the wonders. Now I think about it.

The Zombies allready have unique government and I don't see no sense to make another government

Tanks have 2 movement points... that is the same as most humans characters... shouldn't they have 3? :confused:
 
Re: Tanks - maybe 2 movement is because the terrain is city streets that are full of debris and abandoned cars

Authority are slower, period. Think how fast the national guards and Marine moved, and you;ll see tanks are fast, but that that fast since tanks drove about 50 mile max and it's streets so. But I wouldn't mine it moving 3 too

and again Survivor in the game are hopeless weak, by the time we are swarming mutant zombies, black ops, and marines, survivor have 3 Old vets and two survivors as far as I can see, maybe it's becuase all it's unit needs ammo, making it unable to building any units where to as company needs NO resources and Marine too.

O and the Doctor sure kick ass.



One important thing, can we trade tech in this map, we are playing the PBEM, and I was wondering if we can trade tech?
 
I just wanted to say that I played both EFZI2 and EFZI3 and it just keeps getting better :goodjob: :king: . Anyway, I have also made a few tweaks to suit my own personal tastes, so here they are just in case you guys want any new ideas for a possible EFZI4.

The Company now has a Bio Containment Unit available with Contain This Mess. Their purpose is to act as a sort of gap filler between the Security and Black Ops.

Mike Rush and his Rushmobile now belong to the Survivors instead of the Authorities(you guys may not like this, but I personally thought it fits better).

I eliminated the Command and Control on the mainland for the Authorities and put the Military Hardware under the Military Base. The reasoning will be explained in the next point.

I took out the little island with the victory location and put it on the mainland. So now the Survivors must make it to the mainland(and possibly carry the virus there which sets up a "Zombie Nation" scenario :mischief: ).

Zombies, Mutant Zombies, and Zombie Nurses can no longer walk on residential or commercial property(to represent a survivor making a quick escape by ducking into an alley), however Graveyard Swarms, Zombie/Mutant/Monster Dogs, Monster Zombies, and Zombie Bats can still enter those tiles.

Zombie Bats have been changed to land units because I felt that they couldn't really compete with the F-15(I was playing as the Authorities and a Zombie Bat shot down one of my F-15s :eek: ).

The Authorities and Company can build Armies. This is to show their ability to launch organized assaults and the armies are supposed to represent squads that fight together instead of individuals like the Survivors.

These aren't all the changes but this is all I can remember right now, so tell me if you guys think some or all of these changes are good/bad. Btw, in my last game as the Authorities(I don't know why, but they are my favorite) I kicked some Zombie a$$ :ar15: .
 
which one of your idea are good..hmmm......................I would say ALL,
I didn't realize their was a bio-containment unit availiable as we talk about that before. And the mainland escapes works well too.

I like ... what unit did you use for bio containment?
Any screenies?

I like the idea of more cars and vans which can also transport units
 
I used Kinboat's Modern Legion for the BCU(it just reminds me of the Umbrella soldiers from RE). Unfortunately I don't know how to get a screenshot, so I cannot post one unless someone tells me how.

EDIT: If you guys want, I could post the the scenario with the changes so you can check it out.

EDIT2: I just remembered I also changed the graphic for the National Guard to Balou's Modern Infantry.
 
It keeps telling me that it wont run due to a stupid .txt file in the WW2 in the Pacific file. Any reason why it is doing this
