Escape From Zombie Island 2 ready for public consumption

*Important Info. first:*
You don't require this patch if you have already downloaded the zip on the first post of this thread.

Unfortunately the patch is in 3 parts because I suffered a stupid attack. Fortunately, the combined file size is just over 1.5MB.

(0) Unless you're a badass, backup your exisiting Escape From Zombie Island 2 folder and biq file.
(1) Download both zips and put them in the Conquests Scenarios folder.
(2) Unzip the files from there and if asked to overwrite existing files say yes.
(3) Waste zombies but remember to keep the last bullet for yourself.

There may be a slight problem going into the civilopedia as I forgot to include 2 pedia graphics for the new 'Fridge' improvement. I'll post the pics tonight.

If you spot anything else wrong let me know.

Since you really helped me with those dial-up patches, I was wondering if you wanted help with the civilopedia entries. Here's one I made for the Fridge:

"Johny shuffled through the house, attempting to not make a sound. He glanced around the ruined room.
Broken furniture, and garbage littered the floor. Then his eye caught hold of something looming in the dark.
He instinctively reached for his gun, but seeing that the object did not move, he hobbled over to investigate.
He reached out his hand and pulled the thing open. Inside a small light went on and he saw, before his startled
eyes, ounces of food. He squealed in joy! But then the light flickered and died.
Then from somewhere behind him he heard the ominous word "Brayuuuns!"..."
 
You seemed to have made the Company quite a bit more powerful. On the PG rating, I easily stormed, and destroyed the entire island in 17 days. (and won in something like 10 days via space race)

That's quite a feat with the Company. The only change to the company was the extra city and the change in tthe location of their capital. However, I did remove all the research caps which may have made researching the company space race too fast. I'll look into it thanks/
 
IMO, the new unrestricted rate caps dont matter, the unhappiness is so much more intense than it used to be, that I can rarely keep my sci higher than 5 anyway...Im generally at 3-5-2 with the survivors...who I would like to add, I used to be able to walk through with, and now Im having trouble beating it on PG...

only retirement home.

Abe Peters didn't even have time to put in his teeth when the Zombies attacked the Retirement Home in the dead of night.
Luckily though, he had old-Bessy under his pillow and was shortly mowing down Zombies left, right, and centre. "Now where's my
slippers".

Group Omega silently crept through the abandoned streets. Even though it was day, the sky was darkened by
a thick cloud layer. Rain drizzeled down on the battle-tired men. They approched the Hospital with extreme silence.
O leader motioned for them to enter the building.

Once in side they barricaded all the doors and got the generator to work. Then the exausted men slide down into
their seats and armed themselves.

While they were doing this they didn't even hear the dead footsteps that echoed in the halls.

The Graveyard of Paradise city is full of graves old and new, but be warned. The area around this hell-haven is full of Zombie Swarms.



===================Here's a description of City Hall================

The City Hall of Paradise City is made from the whitest marble, crafted by one of the most famous architect, but
who cares? Now that the Zombies are roaming the streets the leaders of the city are hiding inside of this building.



==========Here's a description of the Zombie Nurse School============

Despite the huge outlays of cash for defense of the city, the Zombies might gain entrance to the Hospital. If so
they can turn the Place of Healing into a Place of Killing, turning hundreds of Doctors, Nurses, and Patients into Zombies.



========Here's a description of for the Companies Research Lab========

Hopefully the Corporation is researching a cure, and not a disease that will make everyone love disco music...

that's a consequence of the increased pop growth in this new version. It's all "swings and roundabouts" in terms of benefits and penalties. Nice to hear that Survivors are more difficult that was intentional. Try the Company and let me know if they are too easy..

I personally did not make the units but the kind folks at civfanatics where they are sourced created them for the very purpose that people would put them into scenarios or mods. So the short answer is yes, of course you may :)
 
I finally have gotten the survivors off the island...Little Timmy and Mrs Tokugowa(Widowed) along with Pilot Bob successfully survived and made it to the mainland...I lost all the survivor cities except the Airport(didnt need em anyway, right?)...so now on to try the Company(or was it the Authority you wanted me to try?)
Cities seem a little easier to take now, than the last version...I noted it more in the cities with Zombie kings(Graveyard??/Airport??) they used to take a SOD to take down a Zombie King, now it takes 10 or so, with few losses...I think if you changed the ZK, to make them easier, you went too far, if nothing changed, Im just crazy
...the zombies look cooler now, as a whole...I still hope the nurse zombie gets a graphic upgrade...now with all the new/better looking zombies, she kinda sticks out...

Great Job KA...again I comend you on a scenario that remains at the top of my list...playable time and time again...
