EDIT: Also, if you think it's funny that Zeb can speak zombie, try snooping around the Zombies territory- they find it perfectly acceptable to hunt zombies!
 
I just got a big error. Myabe it's me installing the scenario wrong or something else but...

When I load the scenario on the civ-content menu (normaly I use conquests) it comes up with this error and shuts down:

What about having an Ammo supply near the Armoury ???

Good for Zeb and Survivors.

Especially if'n ya got Sammy boy ;)

btw ... I shot Allbright fulla holes and now got the corner piece of ma land back :D

EDIT ... Also taken the Dog Pound ... but can can only eat the critters :( ... Zeb needs to be able to produce a canine unit !!!

Ok I found out why. I had to recopy the entire ZOmbie Conquest folder to the scenarios so it could access it. Problem solved.

fe3333au - you're right about Zeb needing to be able to build dogs- I'll put that in.

Nwoll - I'm going to do a Farmer's patch after where I will carefully work out a farmer specific tech tree, units and improvements for them - so those units are just the sort of thing I'm looking for. Thanks!

Timmy felt that today just wasn't his day, fisrt he run for his dare life back to school from Fastfood joint and then he was going to die by some crazy girl dress in a terrible white dress from the 1800s. Oh his pathetic life. What on earth would a woomen dressing in a white dress be out here in front of his school?

In that instant second before Prom Queen deciding to press the Trigger Timmy suddenly remembers that their is the prom dance tonight. he quickly blab out "I know where Brady is, the prom is held near graveyard."

Prom Queen hesitant, doubting the truth of the kid's statement before dicding to hell with it and trust him. "Alrighty...kiddy you are in luck, I now have a much better target...hehehehehehehehhehe.. Oh Brady I am so going to find you out..today have to be our lucky day we will have the last dance...ahahaahahahahaha"

that crazy enough for you? I said graveyard because there is at least 3 time as much zombie in the graveyard compare to other cities so only explaination is that every kid in prom night is now zombies...that' mine assumption

National Guard

National Guards are the first line of Authority Response on the Army Side calling the reserved soldier on the islands besides the police force.

They are slower than SWAT, but have better defense-errr writer's block...
 
ohhh, most units looks like they are using older muskeet kind, but that could be said that survivors are using hunting rifle and such....

the spanish...south america units would really fit the farmers nicely though no doubt about that.

I'm havingfun with Zeb ... he is the prime opportunist and heartless bastard. :clap:

It is 2am, Day 6 on a Rating of 18

Initially I was a peace with all ... well let us say if left alone, I left them alone. :mischief:

I moved most sheep and units upto the nothwester corner of the island and watched green recruits get eaten and while distracted I attack and easily took the Armoury with sheep and an aerial bombardment.

Armoury is good as it creates regular units (and you can also upgrade)

I then explored on foot the northeast and found some parachuted crates and also Sam Hammer sculking about.

Time to check things out things on the island with the crop duster, this is an excellent unit :thumbsup:

I have constantly refused ROP ubless to my advantage.

First Technology I researched was Keep Em Out, really dig the hay bail fortification :)

Allbright offered to sell me Aid Drop ... I haggled him down and built the drop zone.

Next research Guns, Guns, Guns so I could upgrade Sam Hammer and Farm Hands, surely Zeb would have a cache of Arms hidden somewhere on or near his land?
... perhaps between Zeb's Farm and Hospital also near enough to Retirement Home so that any faction has access BUT needs to build and defend a 'colony'.

I ceased fire with the Zombies (trading Guns, Guns, Guns for Here Boy) and and watched them attack the Survivors and Company installations.

I declared on the Authorities and took the Military Base and killed Allbright :D The Company due to mutual protection declared on me ... excellent as I wanted the Dog Pound

Zombies took Hospital and Dog Pound but this was good as I have made peace with all Humans.

Zombies moved into my territory and when asked to move declared on me ... I easily liberated the freshly taken Dog Pound.

Zombies have hulking Montser and Mutant zombies running around.

I am building my best unit Wild Farmboys in Armoury and Zeb's Farm also Military Base (as they are cut off from sheep) the rest will concentrate on Exploding Sheep
... thinking what is the name was changed to Hillbilly or something that doesn't have a 'farm' in the unit title.

I am frustrated about the rapid population expansion at the Wild Boar Inn and Zeb's Farm and there should be more shield and wealth producing resources around ... get rid of the Spam resource and perhaps add another Booze

Perhaps add the Gallows improvement to assist with happiness factor call it Zeb's Law.

Also Sheep Resource should not produced extra food (not needed) ... give it a boost in shield and wealth, the applies also the Dogs Resource
... This game is not really about rapid population expansion !!! BUT one of survival.

It is interesting playing this faction as you can really sit back and literally (with Crop Duster) watch them weaken each other ... then playing the opportunistic misanthropist, take the buildings one by one :evil:


Faction Traits
Survivors ... Religious and Industrious
Authorities ... Militaristic and Religious
Company ... Religious and Commercial
Farmers ... Religious and Agricultural perhaps change to Industrious, farmars are known for their skill to find innovative uses to build, fix and invent.

I am also condused that the fortification graphic does not show up on Zeb's Farm ????


Update ... just received.
in the latest update 2 x .biq files were sent ... one was by inself and the other was in the zip titled Victory Point Change.
Which do we use???

fe3333au...Recons are silent because the game simple reveals the areas rather than play normal Run animations and sounds for them.

I noticed that the Sheep did not have a Run sound so I made one for them. You probably don't have that update yet. I did not know the Armed Farmhand needed a Run Sound. Thanks, I will see that he gets one.

I like the Moonshine Stills idea lol. OLE Zeb just Loves his Booze and I agree that another Booze Resource around for him would be appropriate. Glad you like the sounds I made for him :) Made me laugh while testing him as well and I hoped all would find the sounds fitting for him.

Obtainable Ammo does warrant addressing with game play factors.

Since the Farmers are playable now, I can see that many naturally want them improved with units and better developed. As King Arthur said, this will be addressed with a later patch because time is needed to develop the Farmers with appropriate units and decide how that Faction should be handled for this game. They initially were not intended to be playable so they were not developed but they are at least playable now and they will be improved.

Cloner4000... Yes, your Prom Queen entry is Crazy enough :lol: I like it and the National Guard...Good Job.

Nwoll and odintheking...There are several units around that the Farmers could use but again, it would be far better to have the most fitting units for them rather than simply tossing in any unit that could work. There are still several units that need to be made specifically for this game such as the Monster Zombie. I just re-colored the Earth Elemental to temporarily fill that slot and while that is a good unit, it was not meant to be a "Monster Zombie". Really Good Units that are specific for this game such as the New Zombies we now have are much better to use and really improve the game. We do not want to add more units that are not specific for a position, only to have more to replace. Basically, King Arthur and I have said that we are not adding any more units now because time is needed to complete what we have and make sure all is working well for the Release that we want ready as soon as possible. Time is needed to make or find the most appropriate units and develop the Farmers in a way that will be worth while for the game. That said, IF we had any special unit that was specific to replace the existing units that are "holding a position" temporarily, we would take the time to add them now but it would not help us get the release out to start tossing in more units before we have corrected what we already have.

Maximilian... Glad the game is working for you now.

fe3333au...Use the Victory Point Change but King Arthur will be sending out another updated Biq soon. Yes, he just sent this one...Sept. 6th should be the Biq to use.Yes, the Farmers could use more shield production.
 
Re. Farmer units. As Vuldacon said we're really looking for tailored made units for the scenario. So far I managed to pique the interest of aaglo and Supa.

In summary Farmer units required are:
Farmer Girl - Sassy and sexy; long blonde hair tied back in a practical manner; long legs (shorts or jeans); boots and armed with a shotgun. Think the sister out of Duke's of Hazard.

Mongo - Zeb's youngest abnormality.
He's big and tosses pigs (much like an olympic hammer-thrower) for his attack.

Wild Farmboy - he'd be bare chested, muscular and carry a scythe as a weapon - a bit like the current Falxman but different weapon obviously.

Hillbilly - bare footed, moonshine swilling, bearded, cross-eyed, rotten toothed fella with a blunderbuss.

So if you see aaglo or supa around just ask them (nicely of course).
 
I'll put some starting ammo somewhere round about Zeb's place.

Sheep - I've reduced food bonus on the latest version that I just sent.

Spam - I removed that one around the Wild Boar Inn.
 
It'll be interesting to see how tradable Cola will be with the other factions. Too much and it would an exploit for the player. I tested it though and it doesn't seem too bad. Fullbright offered me 70 supplies and stingy Zeb offered me 50 supplies.
 
I miss the daygo green for Zombies ... but infectious yellow is good too :thumbsup:

Still think that Authorities could use a lighter more standoutish colour so the boundary markers are easier to spot.
