Escape From Zombie Island 2: The Remake

egroen The Civilopedia should have the information about the TV Station and the 10 turns required. You can also click the "V" on the bottom Right window or Press the F5 Key to check "Victory Points". The reason for 10 Turns is because that is a minimum setting allowed in the editor.
Shortcut Keys are helpful...Press the F4 Key to see who Owns a Key Location for example. Answers to most Questions can be found in the Civilopedia.
Look through the "Game Concepts" as well. This has all been developed more for the Update so things are better explained.

Perhaps the civilopedia had it under 'victory conditions' but it did not when I was looking under the airport, helicopter, etc... pedia entries. Not saying you need to change anything, just re-hashing my confusion (which might be unique to me).

Anyways -- I had a blast playing. Great job, and I can't wait to play the update. You're right, the zombies need to be ramped up later in the game. I kept expecting a nasty push back from them and I never really got it. It sounds like what you have planned will help that out a ton.

One suggestion -- The hand-built tank is pretty useless. It has a slightly higher defense than a pyromaniac, but has no offensive bombard, is wheeled and has only one movement point which makes the pyro the better build in 90% of situations. Just giving the tank two movement points would make it more viable, while not making it unrealistic or over-powered.

egroen ...There have been many additions to entries to make them more clear as well as corrections. So The 10 turns required at the TV Station for example is stated in several entries for the update.

Yes, the Late Game is Tough Now alright... In the process of Testing, evaluating and adjusting this because it has been too tough. Hope to get a more desirable Balance soon.

The Hand Built Tank is set stronger.
Still only one move and I know that can be frustrating if you want to move it somewhere but they are intentioned to help building Defense rather than Offense. I generally Build several in buildings and many times set them just outside the Building to Block Direct Attacks. They will also at least have a stronger Defensive Bombardment as well.

Sweet...that unit is my favorite on CFC (The Davinci Tank) but I never build it in EFZI (except for 1 or 2 for defense, and 3-4 to block roads)...it would be great to see it be tougher, and actually be ABLE to block the road :)

Spacer One ... Yes, I know what you mean. The Tank will be stronger and able to help Defend Buildings better as well as be used to Block streets.

The Attack for that Unit appears as a guy with a rifle inside it, so this Hand Built Tank is really more of a Fortress for Defense rather than a Unit to Attack with. This unit has an important place and is needed by the Survivors especially.

Definately...its not a "roll around killing zombies: unit, but it would be a great "Zombies cant get me!!" type unit...attack is minimal, but defense is greater...Its not like you need em to fight with, since the Champions/heroes take care of the attacking...

Spacer One and Dr Tiny... Yes, the Hand Built Tanks were unfortunately Overlooked in a rush just before the release and did not get the type defense setting it should have had. The Update has it set stronger and it will be very helpful as far a defense but due to game play, it could not be set too strong or the "poor little Zombies" would not be able to capture a building.
That said. I am sure many players will be cursing me when they see and experience the later Zombie Units :)

Just a Note to say that all is coming along well and I hope to have the Update finished for the Holiday Breaks that many people get. King Arthur, Sasebo and I are game testing to make sure all is a Go. I must say that King Arthur and Sasebo are Great about handling rapid changes and new Biqs I keep sending, sometimes several a day.
...stay tuned, it should be ready very soon now :)

There should be a thread where we discuss strategy for this game...

I recently snagged Sam Hammer for the first time...this has been both a blessing, and a curse...My tactics before attempting his rescue were solid, and I could share them for newbies to the game if they'd like...however after rescuing Sam Hammer (during which I ALWAYS lose either Freddie, the Rev, or the Rushmobile), I have been refining my tactics and am interested in what other people do in certain situations...

Am I the only one who ONLY plays Civ, for EFZI2 alone???

Spacer One... Run the Rushmobile toward the Skyscraper past the Church. Run Over a Zombie on the way. Fortify the Rushmobile on the street just before the Skyscraper. Run the Reverend to the Skyscraper and Run the Civilian there too and Fortify them. Run Freddie toward the Detective Agency on the Street.
Next Turn...Rescue Sam Hammer with Freddie and keep them Both together and on Skyscrapers as you run them both toward the Garage. Fortify Both as you go.
Load the Reverend and the Civilian in the Rushmobile and take them to the Garage.
IF you want to use the Rushmobile to pick up Sam Hammer and Freddie, you can do so any time in the next few turns or simply Run them on foot if you want to use the Rushmobile elsewhere. You will not lose the Reverend or Sam Hammer or Freddie :)

In the Upcoming Update, the Company needs to rescure Dr Lazar. Elvis Putnam and Jeff Morris are moved to more central locations on the map and there are several new Buildings. 25 new Units added but a few of those are Improved/New Units of existing Game Units such as the Monster Zombie. There are New Techs and Weapons as well as Units "TeleportBeam" and Paradrop. Too Many adjustments and additions to mention here but I have an "Update List" with the all things listed that will be included. The Civilopedia and all text files and the Graphics that go with them have been improved. I improved all Advisor Screens so they show all Figures better and added other Boxes to show Improvements and Key and Minor Locations that have been Built in a Building. The Game is More Powerful for all Factions and this includes the Zombies in the Late game for Sure :)
...working Hard to get all Final Tested and Really want to get this Update Out for the Christmas and New Year Holiday.

it is in those next few turns(Between getting the civ and Rev back in the rushmobile) that Freddie dies (due to the bomber bat (I REALLY HATE THOSE!!!)and the other zombie preplaced in a building)...if I load Rev and not the civ (the civ is "expendable") I lose Freddie...

I HAVE managed to get Rev home without the rushmobile...but on that run I lost the rushmobile before Freddie and Sam got in, so I restarted (I assumed they were screwed)

Suggestion:
PLEASE give people with Shotguns(and other large guns) SOME anti-aircraft defense!!!!...the bats are annoying at best, and I wonder every time they "bomb" me, I Wish I could just shoot the little bats with my "boom stick"

Just try what I posted above exactly and all should be fine. Remember that the Zombie Bats Love to Pick on injured Units so Keep your Units strong that are out in the Open and Fortified on Skyscrapers or Houses.
IF the Zombie Bat Goes after the Civilian that you have Fortified with the reverend on the Skyscraper, the Civilian should be the Only one Killed. Generally the Zombie Bat goes for the Hospital to help gain that Building.
What I posted above is Turn One and Two.

In the Update...Many Units with Guns have Air Defense...Special Units and Champions for sure.

OK Zombie Fans...The Update is planned to be Uploaded tonight.
...Mmmmmmm, Happy Holidays :xmascheers:
Oh dear... my relatives will suffer from this... well, now it's my turn to enjoy my holidays! :mischief:
