Europe and Italy

I wish the coffee thing was limited to Italy. But the craze has spred. I've been to coffee bars where "Coffee" wasn't even on the menu anymore. Instead they have all kinds of weird names, which i can't make head nor tail off. :crazyeye:

Very funny, although I feel closer to the Italians that to the rest of the Europeans. (I am spanish, BTW)

As far as the coffee thing, That also happen in Spain, But that´s because you can find good coffee in any cafeteria, either in Spain and also, I suppose, in Italy. Nothing compared to the dirty water it is served in France, for instance.

I could replace Italy with Wallonia for most of these too. And I think it's true for most latin nations. ;)

Edit: this could very well apply to Romania

I feel very, very embarrased when the plane lands and the passengers starts clapping. Have you ever being in a plane where the passengers do that? It is utterly embarrasing.

I have. We think the pilot expects it.

About you, F(orza)N(uova)ROMA... I have been thinking that fascists should have the feeling of national proud.

Fascisti, carogne, tornate nelle fogne!

Onore alle Brigate Garibaldi e a Piazzale Loreto!

It's pretty funny but that is why we have the humor forum.

The flash pretty much applies to every country in Europe minus the Germanic ones. Actually it applies pretty much to the entire world except northern Europe, Canada, US, Japan and probably South Korea (just assuming they drive well).

... It's true that many things are true also for France, especially when it goes about bureaucracy and politics.

However, I must confess that clapping when the plane lands is very disturbing when you're a passenger.

That reminds me a story when I was in Australia. I went at a café and I asked "Coffee please", then the girl remained silent and asked me "Which one ?". I was a bit disturbed by the question so I asked her what did she meant... and then she made a long list of every available coffee. Then I figured out the thing I needed to ask was actually an espresso.

Nah, it just applies to the latin countries. Not for the civilized ones ;)

As an Italian that lives in the US, I should extract the part on coffee and circulate it.
I always want my coffee customized in 25 ways and my friends look at me with a "what's wrong with you" attitude

My Dad has a saying: The English (or Gemanics) have a few rules they follow religiously; the French (or Latins) have many rules they never obey.

Thus, it could have been "Canada and Quebec". Only the Italians cross the street at a "crosswalk".
