I asked Pacoenes to send me the save from the 23rd so I can alter the password and send it to the eventual replacement.

Unfortunately, the magic only works with this game.
I don't know the password for Eurozone2.

How do I change the PW as admin? I've got another game which has stopped when Para disappeared.

First thing to say is I've now changed a couple of games where PS was playing, and it turned out he had no password set - so you might not need to do anything other than forward the save to the replacement.

Alternatively....

Have PS's save sent to you, and play it.
When the password prompt comes up, simply enter the admin password.

If there are any city builds completing, you will have to go into the city and select something to build - no escaping this.
Once the builds are complete, and when the first unit appears to be moved, ignore this.

Choose the Game Menu option towards the top right of the screen
(I think hitting Esc gives you this also)

Almost at the bottom of the menu list is 'Your details' (or thereabouts)

Select this, then enter a new password to give to the new guy..

Remain in the Game menu, and choose 'Save Game'

Remain in the Game menu, and choose 'Exit to Desktop'
(do * NOT * press End of Turn).


Now load the save file that was created when you chose 'Save Game'

Check that the new password you created works with this save.

Then, send the save to the new guy with the new pw.

The new guy can load, play, and complete the turn as per normal.

I've got it, but due to a PC change I had to redownload/reinstall CIV. Tonight I'm probably not getting home anytime early, so probably will be playing tomorrow morning.

Hey guys BTW, I'll be on vacations from Wed 20th to Mon 1st and I'll be leaving the country, with no option for a computer with CIV installed.

I don't know how you'd like to handle this.
