THXxx.

As long as you do not select Bono.

He'd likely end up an Irish/Celtic Great Artist... <shrug> Though I'd hope they'd use James Joyce or Oscar Wilde over him... lol

If they had a World War expansion pack they'd have no trouble adding Tojo, Churchill, Stalin, Hitler, Charles DeGaulle, and the rest without complaint. Who would seriously be bothered by yet another game with World War II content? :)

They could also use the oppertunity to add some of the major leaders in World War I.

I personally think an expansion pack centered on the World Wars, with lots of new units and leaders from the time period, would be very cool. You could have dozens of different scenarios simulating the different theatres of the wars, or even the entire globe, as you have to build your empire and conquer your rivals, or vie for diplomacy and negotiate alliances.

I can just imagine it now: Civilization IV: World at War!

I remember the good old days of Civ2 when I would play the WW2 scenario over and over and over again..... Ahhhh... *sigh*

I voted for germany:hitler. I'm not antisemite, or anything, but he had a greater affect on history than any of those people.

I agree. Where he is? I couldnt vote for him. Whatever he was, he was the great leader of German.

Egypt: Ramesses II - Male Egyptian leader, 'nuff said.
Greece: Pericles - He is a real Greek, while Alexander is not, and would be a perfect Ind/Phi leader. ;)
Rome: Marcus Aurelius - Good leader, no Caesar x2 problem (and historicly a bit more apart) and I like Richard Harris...

4th I picked was Darius/Xerxes (either will do), basicly need a second leader for Persia that doesn't 'suck'.

Before Firaxis starts on new Civ's they need to 'fill up' the one leader Civ's so they all have two. Preferably in the form of including it in Patches... But thats just me. =)

I don't understand why they offer a third choice for some civs, while others only have one active leader. I mean, I'd rather have the ability to have a different aztec leader (who isn't such a dink) or a new Japanese leader (who actually enjoys meeting other civs) than have a third USA president (zzz) or another English monarch (barf).

I agree with you hee - fill the gaps first before adding third leaders to civs ...

IMO Ramesses II and Marcus Aurelius should be added...

Pericles
Augastus
Lenin
Stalin

My projection of the four new leaders in the expansion pack...

Churchill
Pericles
Lincoln
Augustus Caesar

One final point...Hitler will be included....When Hell freezes over...:goodjob:

America: Abraham Lincoln
Egypt: Ramesses II
England: Winston Churchill
Greece: Pericles
Rome: Marcus Aurelius

I put in a custom entry to make it so that every civ has at least 2 leader choices. I'm not that picky about WHO they are since that's gloss that has zero impact on the game - I just want more trait combo choices per Civ.

I voted for Xerxes as well. I think the Persians should have two leaders.

Why go for Stalin and Lenin??? They were not any better than Hitler; Stalin just did'nt loose the war but was still a terrible despot (Lenin died too early to prove it).
As far as I see, Civ4 tries to be "Political Correct" and therefore I don't see cruel leaders coming to play. OK, many of the old leaders were cruel as well, but thats not so close up on us.
