Expansionist Attribute Points

Trying to complete the Exponential Expansionist challenge. Can anyone offer any insight in how to earn Expansionist Attribute Points please? The other types are fairly logical but struggling to figure this one out.

Ibn Battuta + Groma would net you nine points for free over the course of a game

Choose expansionist memento of course. I got mine on a King level game, so I was able to get enough future tech to help that out. I find that these kinds of things seem to compound on itself, meaning once you start really filling out the tree, I seem to get events and things to give me more points in that tree. I don't know all the unlocks, so I can't say for sure.

That's great thanks! I hadn't spotted that Hanging Garden and Communism both offered an attribute point!

Don't forget Wildcard points can go anywhere.

If you're lucky enough to have a tile near a lake, Shwedagon's wildcard point helps immensely when you're trying to narrow down a single tree.

You should be able to finish the tree by the end of your game by just dumping all future tech wildcard points into it. For some reason it seemed the "repeatable" ones weren't required for the challenge. I was getting the notification when the row before was complete.

Side note but the notification that you complete it is behind the window so you may miss it if you aren't specifically looking for it.

Also note for anyone who doesn't know, the legacy unlock ones don't count, so you don't need those. I finished all my challenge trees already, so I don't have to worry about those. I'm at level 42 now, so getting close. I probably won't worry about the very difficult ones like the army commander ones requiring a ridiculous amount of promotions. But I'm saving my Trung game for that.

BTW, the "cheat panel" mod, has a give wildcard point.

Using does NOT break achievements, progression either.



(you can have a lotta fun with that panel. Want ALL the IP? Give yerself 20k of influence. Gets REAL
stupid if you grab science/culture first and take the free tech/civic thing. hee-hee.)

I got the 3 commanders with 2 trees each in a persia Mongolia Prussia game and am going to save the other one for a trung truc persia and art of war memento game...
