Anyone know if Civ III will end when you reach AC?

Or will it be like TOT and enable you to continue until Transcendence?

Either way what do people like best?

In one of the interveiws that Firaxis had they said that you can still win by sending a starship to AC. In addition to the classic methods of winning, there will also be a victory in which you gain control of the UN. There has also been talk about an economic victory, but that is still on the drawing board.

My guess is that it'll be just like Alpha Centauri: there are many ways towards victory. But actually this is also more a question for Dan.

I'd really like it if you could continue once you reach AC, but it's unlikely to happen (in the first version - maybe there'll be a TOT2?)

I think it will be possible to create a scenario that can go all the way through regular Civ and then continue on Alpha Centauri even if they don't build it into the game itself. But, I would like to see this as part of the game. Wonder if Dan has any insight on this???

I wanted to see it to continue from the first one. Battling it out on earth and AC would be pretty cool. War of the Worlds type of thing then, maybe??? It could be a great expansion pack idea.
