Reasons a Franco-Japantican Alliance would be good

• The other big powers are making allys, if we want to survive we need to as well.
• The only great power on our contient is france, if we stand we them we can't be touched.
• A war with france would be long and bloody, a treaty will cut the risk
• Zulus are moderatly powerfull, A Franco Japantican Alliance would scare them

The only thing a MPP can bring us is entangled wars with more other nations. The AI will invariably use any MPPs we sign to draw us into war, even the 'historically pacifistic' French.
