FailedReality's Pitboss (1st - Vanilla)

That was not stated as a condition of this game.
Point taken... I will continue.

I actually didn't mean to accept that deal.

Anyone want some cheap French cities?

I'll take them, either I'll conquer them or trade for them ;p although, I think Neo's plan is to raze them?

I think this is complete BS...

I accepted Gozers trade by mistake (the trade interface is bs - when you try to type a message in the trade it accepts the trade WTH?), but he should not have the cities in the first place. If he had invaded and taken the city that is one thing, but to give someone on another continent a free pass to ours (or essentially free money for trading them???? Are you kidding me???

If neo's only reason to coming back into the game was to login and give away his cities that is BS!!!!!

Someone tried to do that crap with me earlier and I just gave the cities back to him next turn.

I would like the turn rolled back and neo kicked from this game.
and you might want to throw a pw on it as well... if not rolled back - AT LEAST kicked from the game.

Thanks for being another time waster neo. Not only are you a loser, but you are a poor loser. Aren't you glad that you destroyed the Road of Peace?

Craterus22 you are a crying POS.
I obviously got double turned when this war started but did I say anything.
NO....
Trading troops and workers is no more worse then trading cities.
BTW I never believe your double talking Lying in the first place I knew you would lie and betray me in the end I never believed your bs in the first place.
I want a roll back to where Russia double turned me to start the war.
He logged in right before turn end and then stayed on to take a turn total BS.
I didn't start all the   ing and complaining but I'm not going to back down from a POS like Craterus22 either.
I think Russia and Rome should be kicked for trading troops and double turning.
The only reason Russia is even in the game in the first place is because of illegal troop trading in the first place. The Aztec would have razed him long ago if not for illegal troop trading.

When I first started this ptbs server I would have never expected to be a game ref at the same time. Kind of takes all the fun out of it for me.

Truthfully if I would have known about all these issues, I think I would have just started a ptbs server for a couple of friends...

Troops trading and city trading are both within the limits of the game rules...

I hear you FR.
I was being a good sport and zipping my lip til Craterus22 started being a crying boob.

There was no illegal troop trading... and even without that axemen he wouldn't have taken the city... I had about 8 units left when he attacked.

And I never double turned. And there was nothing illegal with me and Craterus trading troops.

What is illeagal about city trading then?
It is easy to say that things would have gone your way anyway.
Listening to the Aztecs he said he would have taken your city.
I noticed you never mention the double turn that started this whole war.

I didn't start the war with a double turn, I have no idea what you are talking about.

Well it is far gone now to show you in the logs but right after I declared war on you, you logged in before turn end and stayed on then promptly moved again.
I just choose not to be sniffling wuss about it.

Your reasoning abilities are faulty here.Just because I logged in before the turn ended, doesn't mean I double moved.

If you would've payed attention you would have obviously known this, since the units that attacked your city were the same ones that you would have been able to see in the forest.

I moved first, you moved, i logged in right before the turn switched, moved first on the next turn. no double move.

Why did you log on before turn end then?
If you didn't do anything?
Please I'm not dumb enough to think you did it for no reason.
I am just support to trust that you made it look like you cheated but you didn't actually cheat.
I'm not as dumb as Craterus22 to believe your BS.

if you noticed I've done it several times during the game. It's because I'm impatient and log in as soon as possible to take my turn. I guess I'll avoid it so people like you don't make such a huge deal about it, though.

I'd confidently submit to FR reloading those turns, and having people log into my civ to see the units that I had, and see that I didn't double move. If there is evidence that I double moved I'd gift you 15 cossacks and start the war over.

That save is long gone.
If it wasn't I would take you up on your offer.
Truth is you are a clever player and I applaud that.
I have little patience for cry babies like Craterus22.
I was willing to keep it good game and well played till Craterus22 started crying.

This is mostly my fault. I didn't mean to accept the cities from Neo. The diplo interface is kind of hard to use (or maybe I'm just not that smart).

City gifting is perfectly legal just like gifting units or resources is. However, it seems to me the war-time gifting of nearly an entire empire to an uninvolved 3rd party is a manipulation of the rules that only serves to throw the game out of balance.

Neo didn't do anything "wrong" or against the rules, his intent is to create chaos in the game and he has succeeded. That said, I think most of us interested in playing the game to its conclusion would agree that perhaps we should implement the oobs city swaping rule:

Players who are in a state of war may not gift their cities to any other players. This is to prevent the following scenario: player A marches forces up to player B's city, player B then gives the city to player C (possibly in exchange for gold) to prevent player A (who is not at war with player C) from capturing it.

I would also prefer to reload from the beginning of this turn since both Craterus and I accidentally accepted deals we did not intend to. However, I think any turn reset or new rules should be agreed to unanimously.

If people want to play this out as is, I'm taking bids for whichever French cities I still have. You can capture them, but then you won't get to keep all those nice buildings BB has built.

I agree with Gozer with following exception "Troop trading" is a manipulation of the rules that only serves to throw the game out of balance as well. If they want to manipulate troop trading to take me out I don't see why city trading is any different. Further the Romans stabbed me in the back which is fine and not illegal but they should except the consequences of such a betrayal.

Well in games like oob's there are specific rules against gifting in war time. Afaik no specific rules were stated for this game though...
