Falklands War Pbem!!!!

OK finally the turn.
Forgot to sink the ship, ah well get another helicopter.
Not much else and creativity is just about gone, Got to go to bed.
Last turn tonight will check in the AM.

Are we getting close to some kind of a record for number of turns in one day?

I might have to open a poll on that.

Happy Hunting.
:crazyeye:

You labelled the file 10weekArgentina. I hope it's the right one, sleepy adversary

You uploaded my saved file, not the English turn one. Ah, well, off to bed for me, I do enjoy having such a late class though.

I believe COMATOSE adversary is much more accurate, try this one and hopefully the ctrl-n doesn't screw me up.

Hopefully you'll get this, Im jumpimg back and forth between computers because I am too lazy to load the scenario on this one. Ill have to that for tomorrow. GOOD NIGHT.

PinkyGen
"THIS IS YOUR MOTHER SPEAKING! ITS TIME TO GET UP AND GO TO SCHOOL. PINKYGEN IM NOT GOING TO TELL YOU AGAIN."

Sorry I couldn't resist this morning. Off to work now sorry about the file mix up. I got to quit staying up so late, cant keep up with you youngsters anymore.

I don't turn on my computer in the morning. I wake up, eat and go to class. In today's case, I went to the pharmacy and bought medicine to stop my hair from falling out. Then I read the paper. Then I went to class. Then I went to the library to research for a Model UN conference on Cuba's policies towards the evil Yankee ABM system. :D

Now, I am going to make some phone calls to get bus tickets, then I shall load.

Dammed frigate, should have sunk it last turn. Its in Davy Jones Locker now.[phaser]

The intrigue continues. I'd like to share more but I'm trying something that relies on surprise. I figure what the hell, I dont have much more to lose at this point.:crazyeye:

Oh NO! Not that dreaded CAP again! I knew I should have kept my mouth shut. Thats what I get for letting my officers sleep around with those Argentine women. They are VERY attractive but must be spies!

One helicopter, one submarine, and two other units, most likely seawolf missiles, sunk by a Pucara on CAP.

One frigate, one submarine, and two other units, most likely sea Wolf Missiles, sunk by two Canberras out of Port Stanley.

We thank our pretty Argentinian women for aiding the motherland. ;)

English Harriers, helicopters, frigates, and until recently submarines :D , continue to blockade about 70 miles off Port Stanley.

High Command considers that this fleet might be a feint, and CAP's continue around the Maldives. However, the rest of the English fleet has not been spotted. There was a Chilean Bell Helicopter in our territory in the maldives, and one Chilean infantry in Argentina itself, blocking troop movements.

One can and one puc splashed west of Port Stanley, you know which ones. No more sleeping with Argentine women!
Gotta run, kids got cubscouts and an open house tonight. Will check on the war before I go to bed tonight. And no I am NOT staying up till midnight again! Too old for that crap!:)

Sank a ship north and a little east of Port Stanley, I believe a cruiser. Operation Anemic Thunder Continues.

That was a destroyer, not a cruiser. But it was nice and freshly made from the mainland, so I'm mad you killed it. I sank your frigate for that.

CAP and naval searches have failed to turn up the enemy, and they seem to have withdrawn from blockading the east coast. Intelligence indicates only three possibilities, with two likely.

1. Attack from the north or far north of the Maldives. Considered unlikely due to the placement of certain assets. ;)

2. Attack from the east. The British Fleet has merely withdrawn out of CAP range, and is trying to trick us.

3. Attack from the south. Would explain the considerable time the British Fleet is spending moving about.

On another note, I shall be out of town starting Saturday, we have Fall Break up here. I don't know when I'll return, though I'm thinking it'll either be Sunday or Monday.

Bel Grano spoted North of Port Stanley.
No problem on being out of town, the following weekend Ill be gone.

One more turn after this and Im off to bed, really!

Yes, the cruiser Belgrano sank your frigate.

INVASION: ENGLISH TROOPS LAND SOUTH OF DARWIN, FITZ ROY BASE
English troops on penninsula connected to Darwin, Reinforcements are rushed to the seen, preliminary airstrikes on English troops begin

Reports were received of English planes landing in the island airbase south of Darwin. (I didn't even need to send a plane, it stuck out having the occupied color). A Pucara on CAP was immediatly sent to the area, finding that not only was the airbase occupied by English air and ground forces, but that the English had even landed off the coast of Darwin itself. Instead of returning to base, the Pucara strafed the English base, destroying the troops within, leaving the lynx helicopters all alone. However, air command did not wish to risk the planes to destroy such low level targets.

However, air command did authorize bombing runs of the landing British troops. Two Canberras suceeded in obliterating the 4/5th's of the English landing forces, overcoming AA guns and the shoulder fired stinger missiles. The Canberras might be destroyed, but those brave pilots will go down in history, and we have more where that came from. :)

A run from a downed Puma and a Pucara destroys the lone English marine unit. The coast is once again clear, please, land more of them. :D And perhaps land closer, so my immense air force doesn't have time to massacre your troops on the beacheads. :)

Dam it, well I had to try something, I was hoping you wouldn't see me till after one turn, didn't think about the base having an occupied color. Dam if I hadn't landed there do you think you would have seen me, honestly. Ill play this next turn pretty quick, U/L and then im off to bed. If you want SLAUGHTER me once more and Ill post a play in the morning.

What happened was not so much the base changing color, as I noticed it was red and had airplane markers inside.

Even if I hadn't noticed that, I would have found those ground troops. I'm not joking about those CAP's, they are flying out a certain distance, than usually flying back in unless they find something. I have one piece of strategic advice, but I can only say it after game.

Off to play now.
