This is C.A. Flat reporting from Tel Aviv...

It's been eight weeks since the World Cup was cancelled, and the skies rained fire from Egyptian artillery and missile fire. Israel has been conquered, and the U.S. promise of half a century has been broken. More startling even is the rapid expansion of the normally docile Egyptians throughout the Eastern Mediterraenean. Izmir was brutally sacked just last week, and the cries of a holy war are once again being heard throughout Europe.

But Europe has her own problems. A roar from the East, as the Polish have fully mobilized their entire country, and taken back many of their formally held Imperial lands. But even the Polish were not able to crack the Kremilin, as Polish forces were driven back from Moscow after a pitched battle. The Russians annexed Sweden, and moved in several of their warships as protection.

The situation in Eastern Europe is VERY volatile, as the Ukrainians have also moved quickly on the former Soviet States.

In Western Europe, the Italian armed forces have taken several key areas, and have moved into the African arena once again with their invasion of Tunisia. They also released a statement saying that their marines have put down a "rebellion in Serbia", but details are sketchy.

England has solved their Irish problem, and became a "protectarate" of Norway. A small Naval skirmish has ensued over Holland, with German and English ships being involved.

With Chinese destruction of many Satellites, our news cannot be as up to date as we would like. But we are working very hard to bring you the best news as possible.

A radio report has suggested that winter offensives may be possible, and your loyal journalists here will bring you the best coverage possible on the situation.

Dr. Daniel Gains for the Detroit Free Press

In our continued documentation of Easter Europe, and namely the newly-formed Socialist Union of the Ukraine, we now have documented General Vanko Svietlanya's aggressive moves into Romania and Georgia.

Ukranian marines, under assistance from the Turkish Black Sea fleet stormed the tiny "breakaway Republic" of Georgia. General Svietlanya, who had such termed Georgia, said that "Georgia yet refuses to accept the fact that she belongs to the Socialist Union of the Ukraine...therefore, by denying her rightful place alongside the Ukranian tanks, we have had her and her foolish democratic ideals meet them."

The ultimatum that was sent to Georgia demanded annexation and has a 20 minute time tag. War was declared 30 seconds after it reportedly arrived in Tblisi.

Continuing on his surge to create a unified Socialst Union of the Ukraine, Svietlanya marched into Bucharest this month. This however was reportedly welcomed with a parade and little resistance--the troops were only used, Scietlanya said, as "peacekeepers...in that, they would make peace, by removing such plutocratics as the former Romanian government." Needless to say, Romania has been renamed "Rum. UUSR" (Ukranian Union Socialist Republic) as an integral province of the Ukraine.

The moves which were ultimately used against the great enemy of Russia, the Russian bear, now put Svietlanya's armed forces against the pot-smoking president of the Russian Federation. Another square off in the Volga resulted in a draw, but Ukranian troops stand poised to take Moscow.

DATELINE-Christmas Day 1994


This is C.A. Flat reporting.

I am standing here in the windswept Alps near Geneva on this crisp clear day. A day, which is to bring "peace on earth, and goodwill towards men."

There is nothing farther from the truth.

As i have talked with several high ranking French officials here, they assure me that ALL of Europe has mobilized for war. But diplomatically, there is no European war, but several skirmishes which have set off most of the other nations readying themselves for what seems to be a large scale European conflict.

CNN in England is reporting that the BEF has been reconstituted. Also, the launching of several large cruisers has put the English back onto the map in naval supremacy. A EDI- F LON

French officals have confirmed to me that several divisions have been reformed in Paris and Lyons. They were quoted as saying "For defensive purposes only" A PAR- A LYO

Germany today announced the reforming of their armed forces, stating that thousands of new tanks were being pulled from "storage". A BER- A FRA

The rise of the Pharoahs? New Egyptian warships were sighted in SEVERAL ports today. The Egyptian government had no comment on reports of selective service being implemented in the lower Nile regions. F CAI- F ALE- A ASW

The Italians have announced several Ship building ceremonies. These are the largest ship EVER to be built by the Italian navy. Also, the newly built Italian tanks are now coming off the assembly line faster than ever, which makes many neighbors nervous. F NAP-A VEN-A ROM

In Poland, the first ever Polish designed MBT is in final testing. Hundreds are expected to be available immediately, and will "Protect our Imperial investments" stated one general. F GDA-A WAR-A KRA

An unnamed defense official from the Kremlin stated that "The Second Great Patriotic War has begun." Troops are being trained in the streets of Moscow, to protect their homeland from doom. A Russian official commenting on the Ukrainian war of words and minor skirmishes along the border: "Ukrainians have no fighting spirit, we are not concerned" A MOS

In Spain, CNN reports that several ships have been built in record time, and reservist troops are being called up by the thousands to "defend Spain's honor". A MAD-F BAR

The Turks, reeling after the lightning attack on Izmir, have unvieled 2 new guided missile cruisers, and a large battle cruiser. F CON

In the Ukraine, the war of words between Russia and Ukraine is being taken seriously. Reservists have been called up and activated into new fighting units in this small country. "WE actually won WWII" states one official, "Now it's time for the Russians to remember that." A KIE- A ODE

As war rages on in Asia, the U.S. is considering sending a peacekeeping force into the Balkans to prevent any further violence from escalating into that region. But with U.S. forces strapped for personnel, it may not happen soon enough. Reporting from the Swiss Alps, this is C.A. Flat
