I do not know that Sonic is the best, but I want to post my meal today so everyone can bask in its greatness!!!

Behold, the Ched R Pepper SuperSONIC® Cheeseburger!!!

Actually, this should have been a rave!!!

They have a Sonic around here and I can remember going to them but the burger wasn't all that good (just a typical fast food burger) and they were kind of expensive. The main selling point seemed to be young girls on rollerskates bringing you your food.

The burgers are ok, but I really like their onion rings.

Sonic's best burger isn't on the menu (at least in most places). It is a hickory burger (not their new fangled angus hickory) #1.

Subway. It's one of the only vegetarian fast food restaurants. I meant, Wendy's has salad, but that has meat in it too.

With all this obsession about inand out i spoke to a pal who lived in California for 3 months he said it was the best fast food he ever had.

i want!

I'll see your Ched R Pepper SuperSONIC® Cheeseburger, and raise you KFC's new sandwich, The KFC Double Down Sandwich.

BEHOLD!!

Meat is the New Bread!!!

Yuck.

At any rate, I'd have to vote "other". We've got a few good options to choose from here. There's Powers Hamburgers, King Gyros, and Coney Island Hot Dogs (latter store has been in the same location for over 90 years locally) to start with, plus a number of decent chains, such as Steak and Shake, Rally's, and Jimmie Johns. Oh, and of course there is the usual 1 Starbucks franchise for every ten residents as required by federal law.

Subway's veggie patties only.

Michael Phelps, OMG he's so HOT! (And yes I realize the sub he's eyeing has meat in it).

Mcdonalds, crap.
Burger King, decent.
Subway (more or less fast food), pretty good.

Places I have never eaten at. Don't think it exists here:
Wendy's
Dairy Queen
Jack in the Box
Toco hell... I mean bell
A&W/Long John Silver's
KFC

Regarding KFC and I'm not sure if this is true but I have heard that KFC has tried to open up in Sweden but have been shut down due to health violations. Not because the food is unhealthy but because they didn't meet the requirements regarding hygiene. Probably just a urban myth though.

I voted other, and since I assume that the nice little local burger joint, that wins by a huge margin, don't really get to be in this type of comparison(I assume that there are similar establishments on other places as well) my vote goes to MAX which is a chain at least.

i want!

If In-'N-Out was on the poll, I would've voted for it.

I really like a chain called Portillo's, but they only have about 30 of them in Illinois plus a couple in L.A.
Great burgers, ribs, and hot dogs, as well as Italian beef, Italian sausage, and Polish sausage sandwiches. I guess there isn't a big market outside of Illinois for those things for some reason so they never expanded.

I also think they have the best service. The drivethru's usually have about fifteen cars trying to go through the line, but you never have to wait very long. I can wait longer behind two cars at a McDonalds drivetru than fifteen cars at a Portillo's drivethru.

And if you live out of state you can have them mail you frozen Italian Beefs.

Oh man, Portillos is amazing! My roommate is from chicago and has turned me on to the one in buena park CA. I guess with the drive through it's fast food, but i never thought of it as such.
