Spain definitely. Love knowing where everybody is all the rare resources and all the good locations for cities. You can also explore everybody more thoroughly and quickly build a powerful battlefleet. Also getting all ranged infantry an age earlier is awesome. I hate the Bantu and Egypt though. YOu don't even have to try to win with them they're so cheap and unfair.

i like british cuz the modern units, greeks and germans cuz the early units.

I like the Russians because of the unique units, the high attrition level, and the automatic expanding borders when you upgrade to the next epic. When I lay them, I know my victory is secure.

I also like the Chinese. Great UUs, and automatic citizens make for a great civilization. Useful for when you need citizens to rapidly build something (like a wonder that can win the game for you).

Otherwise, Egyptians rock! I also like the Germans because they have some very nice UUs!

Tercios rocks. They drop cavalries in seconds. Ruin Bonus rocks, knowing how the map looks like rocks.

I like the Koreans, their free citizens are excellent for booming and with their defensive bonus' help you to keep your empire together
