I like the Japanese because they get Heavy Infantry bonuses all the way upto the Enlightenment age, I use H. Infantry alot.
It's a pity the Terra Cotta Army dosn't make H. Infantry!
I voted for the Brits, 'cos I are one. However, I'm still working through some of the others. Inca are great because you get a sacrificial bonus everytime your forces eliminate an enemy. I find this in extremely bad taste, but I'm willing to live with it.
Definetly Romans...I have this weird thing with Ancient Rome and now Italy i just love them...so in all games and stuff Romans are my total favourites!!!
In RoN due to the free heavy infantry units and cheaper towers and forts(I use Defensive strategy most of the time)
The only way to really get to know the Nations is via the CTW campaigns. I got really interested in the Dutch and French whilst playing them in The New World and Napoleon campaigns respectively.
Despite playing on Big Huge maps in Quick Battles, I find that the game goes too quickly to fully appreciate the various Nations' powers.
I almost always play using the Egyptians. Extra farms and and free granary research is essential because I always build light infantry as my primary troops.
The Romans, Americans, and Germans are my favorites. I love the Marines, Barbarians, and Legions. If the Roman Tank Killer hadn't been scrapped I think these three would be tied for the best UU nations.
