As highest active player of the Federation, I turn to you. 1889's ideologies are too modernized. I mean, he cuts out the state represenative system. He also wants to cut out the States General Assembly Hall. What do you think we form an alliance (which right now would entail you and most of all the Federation members voting for the LFR). Just dropping it by you. Please consider this, and no rush to answer.
Civplayah,
Thank you for your message and your open attitude toward the previous regime. I cannot secure the vote of all my faction members, but I certainly can market it.
Let me also make it clear that upon election, I will be personally leaving service from the Federation in order to take up membership in one of the two competing factions. This (along with the simple suffrage movement) will most certainly dissolve the Federation.
That begin said, let me ask of you some conditions.
I view the ADP and LFR as two sides of a balance of democratic ideals. What I want to pursue by making these preconditions is a moderate balance between an democratic establishment (LFR) and an democratic anarchy (ADP).
In the ADP, 1889 states that, "All game play decisions will be decided by majority vote of all citizens of Aretania. " I quite appreciate this idea, but it leaves room for undecided gameplans to be left up to a turnplayer. I think this can be solved by adopting this rule, with the exception that all unresolved gameplans are made by a cabinet of the President and his advisors, all representing (yes I said representing) the populace in a moments notice. Decisions made by the cabinet would be majority vote by the cabinet or simply through the president (I prefer the previous.)
Please note that the above does not mean that citizens will be included in a representative form of government, it is just a plan of action in a time of need, and is also not properly planned completely.
I would also like to see the States/Estates General Assembly hall be kept and used as a discussion palace for all of "the people" but still somewhat tied together by the president. This is, however, not a precondition.
