Fellowship of the Ring - A Mini Mafia

Knowing that Dreadnought was Sam gave me only one choice to put at 2 votes. I didn't know that Sam would inherit the ring, though it should have been easy to predict. I did ask if using the ring would get me out of a lynch and got an answer of no it wouldn't matter. BTW what was the side effect?

Corruption I assume.

Why was I an obvious kill choice?

Always pushing for more activity by people. Which means I can't lurk and hide, and also stopping you voicing any possible suspicions about me, which would be given more credibility when you died (I'm fairly sure you would of been lynched, or I would of killed you in a later night).

Short version: IMO, harder to win with you alive.

@topsecret: if anyone else became corrupted, would me or buddha have been told about it?

I'm going to take that as a compliment. :p

Thats the way I intended it :)

It was lucky for me that you had a useful ability too, would of made it easier if I didn't get myself killed.

Good job guys! Another win at CFC I did nothing to help achieve...

I have to admit, I was expecting the corruption dealie to be a conversion, and some of the players (Boromir and one or two of the hobbits) to be corruptible, Boromir coming up as unclear certainly made that seem likely. Seems like a tough set up for Mat93, unlucky to lose so early.

Frodo was corruptible, (as was anyone with the Ring :p)

Nope, it's a mad dash for the Ring :p

My thoughts on the game:
You guys got lucky
Seriously, that was one of the best games I saw.
I'm pretty sure the town was overpowered though...
The side-effects of the Ring could be anything from suspicious activity in the update (people would vote for you :D) to total corruption (which you could win the game on the next turn )

Overall, I learned quite a bit.
Who thinks I should host another minigame on something else?

If someone get corrupted while in possession of ring, would he won automatically??

The next night. (You must use the Ring.)

and I think you should host another mini game :)
with not so many powerful abilities

I was thinking of doing a vanilla game :D

This was interesting. At least, don't make such powerful roles ;)

I agree with you hosting again, was fun. Maybe a few less power roles overall, but in terms of the experimental ones, I wouldn't mind seeing again (the random vote, and only seeing ability but not alignment).

I would prefer another themed game to vanilla, but I don't mind that much. If you do go themed though, include safe claims for the mafia players, that they could claim and get away with. Or just stop short of using the character names. Makes it impossible to flush out all the mafia with a massclaim (unless the mafia screw up, which is their fault).
