A temporary defense pact between the Bannor and ir-o-kee.

The Treaty of Peace

1. For the next two turns, if either signatories are invaded by a foreign power, the other will send military aid immediately to the invaded party.

2. This treaty can be extended to a longer time period if both signatories wish to extend it.

Witnesses: Junil, Sucellus

Signed: The High Circle
Signed: Chief Storm Coyote of the Ir-O-Kee

From: Red Cricket Exiles, Ir-O-kee
To: Nations of Erebus

The Ir-O-Kee nation hereby recognizes the Red Cricket Exiles as a nation distinct and separate from the nation of Amur. We furthermore extend our official protection to this sovereign and independent state. An attack upon the Red Cricket Exiles shall be constituted as an attack upon the nation of the Ir-O-Kee.

The Bannor Empire also recognises this state, and will see an attack or coercion of these people as a personal attack on the Bannor.

We ask the Amurites and Clan of Ember not to make contact with these people in any way. The Bannor and Ir-o-kee will provide the supplies they need. We will not appreciate interferance from either of your nations, you have done enough damage to these innocent people.

The Mist Elves do not recognise the Red Cricket Exiles as a distinct nation, for allowing one group of political dissidents to thrive is to invite others to join them.

We recognise them only due to the fact that they have been persecuted and systematically exterminated in a most barbaric way ever since the faction was born. Recognising them as a seperate state is the best way that we can ensure that this attrocity will not continue. Other rebel groups would not be treated in this way.

Anyway this isn't a vote, and you're too far away for your opinion to really matter :p

OOC: Darnit, This triangle diplomacy isn't working.

Grigori is Officially NUETRAL on the concerns of the Red Cricket Throne. We don't really care.

To The World

Our limited scouting proved that there are almost no possibility that the imps aren't residing in the Herthi Peninsula. We have seen their damage in small areas... but a whole province? We ask for any and all adventurors to find out the lay of the land, where they are hiding their mana, and report to me. If we find your information good, we will give a gift of a Mithril Vest and Captaincy in the Militias.

Thousands of Small paper birds set off into the sky of cevedes. On the outside was marked: Affairs of the Caswallen: To the Grigori Resistance.

unfolded, it read:
Spoiler ONLY FOR GRIGORI RESISTANCE EYES.IF YOU ARE NOT THE RESISTANCE, DON'T READ :

Spoiler I'm warning you! :

The caswallen wishes to arrange a meeting with you. How can we meet? this meeting will be on your terms.

To the nations of Edsunland
From Bhall’s prophet, Ember of the Clan of Ember

It does not come as a surprise that the nations of men would scheme against us and attempt to smear our reputation and good name and yet, the persistence and vehemence with which you proceed is truly astounding.

Recently we were visited by a noble dignitary of the Ir-O-Kee court, our good friends to the south. They were quite upset as it seems they had received notice from not one but two foreign nations (who’s identities they revealed to us but which, for the sake of diplomatic necessity we will keep hidden) that the Clan of Ember was on the war path and that the Ir-O-Kee were our target. This is not true and we can only presume that one ore more of the nations of men have been spreading lies against us in an effort to discredit us and to turn the opinions of their brother nations against us.

In fact, nothing could be further from the truth (and this we made clear to the Ir-O-Kee ambassador). I consider myself the mother of the orcs, goblins, gnolls, and ogres who call the clan their home and I would not be so foolish as to throw away the lives of my children quite so quickly and for so little gain. The clan of ember wants nothing but peace with the Ir-O-Kee people.

No… the Ir-O-Kee are quite safe. It is only the vicious rumourmongers and liars amongst the nations of Edsunland who must be careful for their scheming will twist their intention against them and it is they that will succumb to their lies and plotting.

Gilvaethwy is a young Grigori scholar. He is usually calm, and people hardly ever notice him as he spends most of his time buried in scrolls.
Therefore it came as a surprise to many people when he blurted out of the house and started talking to everybody on the plazza.
I found him! The guy who signed the letters we received. This Tuan, son of Cairill. I found him. Here:
Gilvaethwy produced a scroll. To him, it was obvious that this Tuan fellow was in the scroll, but to passersby, it was obvious he had lost his mind.
It is the list of the Fists of Balance! He was the last recruit, the youngest of them all. It looks impossible, but it's him, I'm sure! He certainly survived the battle. He would be more than a hundred years old now, but men of yore lived longer, it is well-known.
Gilvaethwy kept remabling for a time, shaking his scroll in front of everybody until everyone fled from him, leaving him puzzled in the middle of the place.
Now Gilvaethwy is back in his scrolls, and he keeps looking for more information about this Tuan, probably the only survivor of his army. If this is really Tuan, why did he come back now?

To: Ember, others

We hope this is not possibly directed towards the Bannor Empire. It is true that we told the ir-o-kee that you were planning an attack, as this was exactly what the Amurite government had told us. They told us that you were planning an invasion and had asked for help from the shield, which they were going to provide. We were discussing the fact that the recent treaty between the Bannor and ir-o-kee would drag the Bannor into a possible war against their will.

We are glad that you seem to have changed your mind. If you doubt any of our claims then announce it publicly, I am sure the Amurites will confirm everything I've said, also publicly.
