FFH wiki corrupted?

Hi,

I'm far from being a computer crack, but it's been the second time this week that I caught some unknown malware while browsing the Fall from heaven wiki, and if I remember correctly both time I was on the sheaim page... not 100% sure though. Might be a coincidence?

It comes in the form of a "random characters".exe that starts running, and when AVG catches it it moves a bunch of files to the vault, including rundll32...... so the result is you can't open any .exe files anymore.

Oh and by the way the system recovery seems to be in .exe format, so no system recovery possible! I found a solution using a second computer but it really sucked.

Thoughts?

Are your operating system and browser updated with the latest patches? If a website is able to store and execute .exe files on your computer, something is seriously wrong with security there.
Unless your patches are way out-of-date (like, say, running IE6 and/or an operating system older than windows XP with service pack 2), a far more likely reason is that you are already infected and it just doesn't show all the time.

The last time I looked at it, the FfH Wiki was severely outdated and also had huge gaps in available information. My suggestion would be to just stay away from the Wiki entirely and use the in-game 'pedia instead. It isn't perfect and takes a while to get the hang of using, but it does contain most of the basic information one might want to know about the mod.
