The zoom on Orthus or Acheron doesn't work correctly when they spawn in a fog of war. In that case, the current tile is zoomed in instead of Orthus/Acheron.

Thats weird, I wasnt having that problem (and they have always spawned in the fog of war for me).

Ditto, except for the fog of war. The two games I've tried so far, Orthus appeared in unexplored territory. My current view would zoom in, but the square Orthus appears in becomes visible. I really like the effect, keeping in mind what you intended.

Did you want the birth-square to be permanantly visible, though?

unexplored territory = fog of war ;)

On second thought, not necessarily. But anyway, we meant the same thing.

Sid's Tip for the Memorial has a square in it.

Fixed, thanks.

I also encountered a square in one of Sheelba's texts, right after I accepted Apprenticeship at her very... warm suggestion. :)

Civ-specific colors for the Ljosalfar's units are messed up.
I modified the texures on the elven units so that I could use them for the Svartalfar, but sometimes the units turn out red instead of grey or green. You can see these on the elven worker, which already has civ-specific colors.

Wyrmhold says that it boosts spread of "the order." I tend to doubt it.
Also I saw the zoom on Acheron the Red's creation, with the tribal music, Dragon roar, and black smoke--awesome!

Right you are, I'll fix the text string on Wyrmhold.

Kyleen has squares in her greeting when annoyed.

There are squares in the divine right tech quote.

Loyality has no tool tip.

When workers are captured the green arrow that shows the event points to the square the attack came from but the new worker is on the tile your unit moves to after defeating the worker.

I suggest making purge the unfaithful a ritual because it would be more fitting flavorwise for a one time effect.

edit:

The same is true for pact of nilhorn. (Would it be possible to let the pact allow you to "capture" barbarian hill giants? Maybe the recon units created in the city wih the pact gain the promotion "friend of giants" that works as animal mastery does against animals.)

Thats because they do not yet have shadered models.

Cardith Lorda's 'pedia entry has squares.

edit: 1)The tips given while the game is being generated need some proofreading. Are they in a single file somewhere? If they are, I volunteer to check them for grammar and spelling mistakes.
2) Jonas Endain's annoyed trade refusal text has "Im" instead of "I'm".

That's a spinoff of the "squares" problem. The squares appear as a result of certain unrecognised characters: long dashes and the fancy asterisks that Word autoinserts when you write in Times New Roman. The quick fix for the asterisk problem is just to remove them.

Lately I've started writing in Arial instead, we'll see if that eliminates it in future.

Is it absolutely necessary to use Word? Why not Notepad or something else that doesn't include fancy characters?

Real writing has to be done in a real word processor. Spell checker, grammer checker and other tools are to important.

They might be important, but they aren't necessary. I'd say that including apostraphies is much more important than misspelling words that no one really cares about the spelling of anyway. Heck, I'll type up the Civlopedia entries myself if you'd like me to.
