FfH2 0.15k

18 seconds from the time I clicked to the time the window with the progress bar appeared... instead of several minutes.

Very low load times, noticed no problems with graphics, sounds or other things during a short test run.

Looks like a winner to me.

It used to take 5-10 minutes to load the mod. It now takes 15-20 seconds. The only downside is that it doesn't leave me enough time to go make a cup of tea and feed the cats, but I suppose you can't have everything. ;)

Can you give me a few examples?
Yes, but they're useless. I did the original diff using Windiff, which apparently works even worse than I thought in comparing .xls files; I got hundreds of differences. When I actually aplied a tool designed for .xls files, I only found the intended change.

Appologies for the confusion.

No problem. Im a little scared of your diff process, you guys are goign to start catching all the little stuff I sneak in. The changelog isn't even 10% of the changes in any version (though I hope it is all of the significant changes).

0.15k is a bit different because I literally reinstalled 0.15 (I had deleted it) made the few changes and released it. So it is a lot cleaner from a change control perspective then most versions.

OMG!

Down from ~6 minutes to 6 seconds for the XML progress bar. It does seem to load a bit faster from there on also.

I even installed the thing in half the time it took the old version to load. What's up with that?!

Thanks for giving us back the birds. And the PLE tooltips. It's good to be able to find the unit you want in a big stack of simliar ones again.

Did you do something with some of the icons (buttons)? The buildlist icon for the Inn is clear as crystal now. And for the Monument/Obelisk, although I can't remember if that wasn't already unblurred. I haven't come across any other icons that you might have tweaked, so I'm thinking you only put in those as testers.

One ever so slightly negative point, though, is the missing soundbytes from some battles. Yea, I know it happened before, but it seems more occurrent this time around. I'm trying to isolate when it happens, but it comes and goes. On the other hand, if noone else experiences this, then I should probably just reinstall. I'm only assuming it's a known bug, cos it was also happening in the old install.

I can't download it.

It says "File Not Found" when I try to download it from 3dDownloads.
Is there a mirror site where I can get .15k?

EDIT: Which has subsequently made me go back and look for what other spell pedia entries need work.

5 seconds to the progress bar, 30 seconds to the main menu.
No problems with the game until now.

The bug with the in depth unit info staying sometimes is back with 0.15k.

hrmm... maybe its just me as noone else has posted about it.. loads are faster(not the thing noones posted about) but everytime I start up a game I'm getting Bannor as evil and calabim as neutral...? Just the two that I noticed, most of the others seem to be on track. Think thats with me doing a custom game(should that make a difference then just play now)
