FfH2 0.16 Bug Thread

There were no cities on the continent, and nobody else had built her yet, so I think she was just spawned randomly.

Kael let me just say how much i admire your latest change in patch H.

I hope i speak for most of us that this was the ONLY big problem with FFH and most mods in general! :goodjob:   [party] :band:

I was going to download the patch 'h' just now, but on the download page the only option is 'g'. Where can I get h?

There is a link to the newest patch on the first post in this thread. Just go to the first page, and click to download the new patch.

My apologies, a bit of a n00b question...

Are the patches cumulative? Or does each one need to be installed?

Dunno if its a bug (or a known bug) but i noticed something while i was playing with Bannor (& Order). I attacked with a stacked bunch of Macemen (Str 7), Crusaders (Str 6) and Adepts and scorched every square i could but when enemy counterattacked something annoying happened. Everytime (ranger, tiger or crossbowmen) they attacked (Malakim & Leaf) the macemen defended. Even when they had only 1 str left. Seemed like game didnt allow for the better (in that situation) Crusaders to defend at all. So ai hunted down all my three 30+ exp point macemen and there was nothing i could do about it.

EDIT: and i know about the 'guardmen' promotion... but still it feels rather odd to me.

Diseased corpses don't count as military protection for happy cap.

How happy would you be with a diseased corpse guarding your home, eh?

(Undead and demonic units don't make people feel safe, and as such, don't count.)

If I was a member of an evil civilization, hell yes I'd be happy to have a diseased corpse guard me from the elves who want to come and cut my throat because I'm evil.

If undead and demonic units don't make people feel safe, that should be mentioned in their pedia entries.

I found a way to get more inquisitors than the national limit of 3. First you form a permanent alliance with an AI. Then, send your level 6+ priest to an AI city that could upgrade the AI's level 6+ priest. Regardless of the current number of inquisitors you have currently, you can turn your priest into another inquisitor, going past the national limit!

I have a saved game with the situation ready and with me controlling 7 inquisitors but it's 799 KB so how can I post this?

I figured out the problem I had before with being unable to spawn werewolves and unable to capture ships with my boarding parties. It is not because of the raiders trait, I had the wonder that made my forces built in my main production city hidden nationality. I didn't realize with hidden nationality you can't capture and/or spawn. Too bad- I had hoped to send out my pirate ships with hidden boarding parties and take over everybody else's navies without having to declare 5 or 6 wars :)

Since I couldn't compress the save down to a small enough size no matter what I created a new game for this scenario. You have 7 Confessors in Capria's capital that are all level 6+. Select them all and upgrade them to Inquisitors. They all will become Inquisitors, not just 3.

OK....playing Ljolsalfar....am tired but capture Morgoth settler and it turns into worker as normal I capture Morgoth city with worker and Install new governer and occupy with new worker making two workers and one of my Hunters and 2 of my archers....next round I have a Hunter, 2Archers and 2 Elven Settleres in the captured still Buzzing with anger Morgoth city that I will not give up....I know I am a terrible neighbor but giving me settlers isn't gonna help you much.....please tell me this is a bug!

Adding the next round if left alone the settlers become workers again but then a free Hunter appears!

I think I may replay it and see if it happens again I have a save right before the take over...If you guys want and then if it does happen I can get before and after shots.

Whats wrong with being guarded by corpses??? They never sleep on guard duty, they are never distracted by lovely maidens, nor do they require weekly gold payments.....the way I see it there's no downside to dead guards!!

They might get hungry and eat your brains and/or your children?
