Is it intended that you cannot build lumbermills on ancient forests?

Also,

That happens in Rhye's and Fall of Civilizations too (when you choose to take control of a new civ which is being born). I'm not saying it's not a bug, I'm just saying it's likely a bug in whatever both mods use to switch the player's civ (whether that's some function in the SDK, some custom function which was added to it, or whatever).

What makes you think that a 17% chance of success should be 0%?

I meant i had a 86% success rate

Hi

How do I check what current version of the patch do I have? last night I downloaded patch C but I don´t remember if I installed it or not...

A warning to all. Smartmap generates all the resources. So, you'll have toads to begin with and best of all, fish jumping about on land hexes. The normal generator seems to work fine, however.

Actually I am not quite sure if this has been posted before as there is no "know issues" thread or something alike. Having to read 10+ pages is nothing i can do when drunk so sorry if it has been reported ;)

In my current game I was playing Prepentach and rushed AV to get to play Hyborem. It worked out very well and I took control of the big red bastard.
After wrecking havoc on some cities I realized the armageddon counter (reffered to as AC in later lines *g*) didn't rise like I supposed it would.
As I read it, the AC should rise whe raizing "good" cities. Whenever I got control over a new city the counter rose. The pop-up asking for "burn-it" or "take-control" came up. When razing the city the counter went down instead of up! There is no difference whether it beeing a neutral, good, FoL or whatever city.
This might have to do with the fact that shortly after razing the city some other message spam the "report". These claim that the AV spread to the city in question.

I also use smartmap and it doesn't spawn resources it shouldn't be for me. Did you perhaps "regenerate" your map? (No idea if this really could be of any relevance though.)

Colud a change be made so that the AV only spreads when a city is kept? Otherwise it means you lower the AC although you want to get it rising.

(I hope I made myself understandable allthough being drunk *g*)

Actually there should be no problem if you reinstalled it.
It just overwrites old files. In case you allready installed it -> nothing changes. If you haven't installed it yet -> newest version will be installed.

Everything will be fine :goodjob:

That sucks, that type of stuff would piss me off

That is just calculus of probabilities. If you don't like it get a glimpse what quick-save and "Create a new random seed on load" is for ;)

I haven't seen this mentioned yet. When switching to Hyborem, the game seems to disregard my selected options. I.e. even though I have "wait at end of turn" selected, it doesn't. And even though "combat zoom" is disabled, it keeps happening. I don't understand...

@ ma.KaBre, do you know the spam rule?

Actually I don't know the spam rule but I guess I know what you mean ;)

I edited it, so that all posts are in one but actually I am too f****ng stupid to get the other ones removed. Is there a way or is a moderator needed to do that?

When casting the ritual to lower the counter (forgot the name) it reduces it by 5 rather than the stated 3.

Its supposed to b 5, I'll correct the pedia entry.

The current position of the Armageddon counter makes it difficult to change techs if the tech you want is to the left far of the bar. I'm not exactly sure how to fix this: FFH2 has a very wide tree, so if you move it to the right side, it will overlap techs there. Perhaps displace it a little to the left?
