FfH2 0.20 Bug Thread

I've seen this too, though not on my own lands. I would figure that if it were an artifact of being an elvish farm, or due to some commonly used civic/religion combination, then others would have noted it before. Maybe the terrain pallette is close to overfilling, which would be a huge shame, since I'm sure there are more and yet more cool additions in the offing.
 
What exactly is wrong with the farms and cottages? They look fine to me.
 
Are they normal?
I believed that those azure rectangles are missing textures or buildings.In particular for cottages i don't understand what are these azure rectangles
 
Those rectangles are pools and ponds used by the followers of the overlords for raising fish and other aquatic food, and for certain ceremonial purposes.

Missing textures will apear pink in game.
 
having problems displaying OO farms and perhaps cottages

thats what they are supposed to look like, its to visually show the religions effects throughout the land ... i suppose the real problem here is that the pasture and mines and plantations don't noticeably change - i suppose its a few missing models that are yet to arrive...

what are the rules on this? is it supposed to change Every Evil living units that die into a Mane?

is there any other way for hyborem to grow cities other than sacrificing manes?

if there is not, and every - say- spearman, worker etc. .. unit that dies IS supposed to be reborn as manes ... well, then there is a bug because when i was playing as hyborem only about half?[maybe?] killed military came back... and after a while spearmen were dieing and none were coming back .. perhaps 5 in a row? can't recall.. and thats wher it is now ..

I'm probably going to restart from the hyborem start save as i've figured a bit more out about how they work... is there any documentation on them yet?
 
I think it means all living units that have either the Ashen Veil or Octopus Overlord as their religion.

11. Modified the chance of getting angels and manes by the amount of players in the game (the more players the less chance angels and manes are awarded).

Not that I know of. But as soon as I say there isn't someone comes up with a plan involving 3 spells, a war tortoise and a valoress flesh golem that proves me wrong. ;)

i don't think much has been changed since fire went up.

and is a chart of the promotion tree possible? or is stuff still changing to fast... perhaps one for Light? ditto the upgrade tree ... it used to flash on screen once in a while, haven't seen it come up in a while..
 
That's certainly odd - I've been playing a few multiplayer games with fire, experiencing no more desyncing than in earlier versions. Are you sure everyone had the same FFH patch?

Yeah, we both had just downloaded it and patched it with patch c.
 
For some reason in all my games, the khazad under kandros fir never seem to build any cities besides thier capital.

Is this a bug? Possibly somethings wrong with the AI under khazad.
 
I've seen that a few times, but other times the Khazad have managed to expand relatively normally. I'd assume it's to do with how much gold they're getting.
 
Yep, Khazad rarely build many cities in my games to but I always figured it was normal.
They probably wait for the vault to be at a certain amount before building an other city.
 
Long time Lurker, First time poster.

I've been watching this mod grow for a while now, and I want to start by saying thanks to all of you folks who have made the game so amazing.

That said, I've got a problem with my units not showing up (red blobs), and I haven't found anyone else with the issue. (I haven't dug too deep).

You need to install the full mod, you just have the patch installed. All of the art is in the full mod.
 
I know, we are using Banish as an example. If what we are doing there works out we will use it on the other targeted spells. Its work like you were doing with getting the AI to be able to cast it, but a different method (which will probably require an SDk change).

You mean all my work is already obsolete? :sad:

Anyway, there are a couple isHasRealBuilding left in CustomFunctions.py and FfHSpells.py
