FfH2 0.20 Bug Thread

I am using a no-cd crack tho, I lost my cd's (I lose all of em -.-'). Perhaps that might be a prob?

just a note to bad Player: your countdown to hell (in your sig) is incorrect lol

Getting an unexplained and recurring CTD as the Sheiam around turn 382. No idea as to the cause.

Thank you Shadius. That is the Mercuiran Horseman bug and it will be fixed in today's patch. If you want to continue your game change line 36674 in your CIV4UnitInfos.xml from:

Code:
                    <EarlyArtDefineTag>ART_DEF_UNIT_HORSEMAN</EarlyArtDefineTag>

to:

Code:
                    <EarlyArtDefineTag>ART_DEF_UNIT_PERSIA_IMMORTAL</EarlyArtDefineTag>

I possibly found two things:
1)The barbarian trait is broken. In my current game, sheelba was nearly wiped out by orthus and his friends, though she is barbarian.

2) The first Altar of Luonnotar isn't buildable for me (Hippus). The civiliopedia says that it doesn't require anything.

Ill check it out.

You can only create one by sacrificing a great prophet.

1. When Basium killed my Hyborem who was holding the Axe of Orthus, he got it... but the (immortal) Hyborem who respawned still had the axe, as well.

2. Playing as the Lanun and founding the Veil, the Lanun kept my leader name after I switched, ("Calchet") while I got the name "Hyborem" - nothing strange so far.
I wiped out the Lanun, and an enemy civilization soon brought Basium into the world... but for some unfathomable reason, the leader name wasn't "Basium", but rather "Calchet", the name of the now-destroyed Lanun leader.

I don´t know if this is truly intended, but I just started a game and at turn 20 or so Mahala declared war on the Malakim, only to ask for peace 10 turn later, and then immediately declared war on me, while im evil (diplo bonus), have enough units to defend my city and am far away from her...

Played as Sheaim, beelined to AV, switched to Hyborem, DoWed Sheaim, destroyed them. But the Armaggedon count dropped during the war.

Kael, could you please start the balance and cosmetic threads? My remarks are more appropriate for them.

1. Barbarian trait is definitely buggy, after switching over to Hyborem the orcs continue to ravage my poor mines and cottages

2. Playing Infernals, I wiped out my previous Civ (Sheaim). When the Mercurians arrived, they took over the player handle. Not a big problem in itself, but suddenly all my freshly taken cities were yearning to join their Mercurian homeland, despite never having met them and their being two continents away.

3. Might be worth adding an Armageddon Counter entry into the Game Concepts area of the Civopedia.

Maybe this is a vanilla thing, but Great Priests can always perform all of their actions multiple times. That is, if you hold down shift while you select the choices, you can queue all of them, multiple times for discover tech and join city.

2) The first Altar of Luonnotar isn't buildable for me (Hippus). The civiliopedia says that it doesn't require anything.

I'm having the same problem as the Calabim, and I have a Great Prophet. The altar isn't listed, though Code of Junil, Tablets of Bambur, Necronomicon, and Wyrmhold are.

Evil civs cant build the Altar.

Why does my soldier of kilmorph have the fellowship of leaves promotion?

The city he was built in has leaves and runes of kilmorph but it still doesnt make sense.

You have to sacrifice a great prophet to build the first 6 pieces of the altar.
