FfH2 0.20 Bug Thread

Hi!

This mod truly rocks, but I've found a couple of minor issues (playing with patch f).

1) Sphener is supposed to convert cities to his religion when he takes them (evangelist), but I took 3 cities with him and none of them gained the Order.

2) Can't get "rise of the phenix" to work. I've tried to wait t'ill the ruins end up in my borders, but the spells stays greyed out...
 
I am finally playing with Fire!:)

Only 15+ hours to download using my 34.6K dial-up connection. I really envy those of you with fast broadband.

I attached a Great Commander to several of my elven units like Rangers and Gilden Silveric.

They are able to exceed the 100XP limit but they are not receiving the +1 Strength boost.

Elven, or a bug?

I am using patch c for now.

They are getting it, it just doesn't show it properly.
 
He is poisoned, thus reducing his heal rate to zero. He is trying to heal but can't. This was fixed in patch 'e'
 
Is he poisoned? What patch?
 
4. You can't banish a unit unless you are at war with their owner.

FYI, none of the targetable spells, not just Banish, require you to be at war to cast them. Or another example, using Dispel Magic also removes promotions from your nearby war allies.

I know, we are using Banish as an example. If what we are doing there works out we will use it on the other targeted spells. Its work like you were doing with getting the AI to be able to cast it, but a different method (which will probably require an SDk change).
 
I think I mentioned this before but here is a picture of a unit successfully taking a city (and burning it) of Faeyl Victoria (neutral) and getting messages saying Hyborem is getting new units from it!


Yeap, evil players can get units from the distruction of a neutral city. But its much fewer than the destruction of an evil city.
 
This may have been a trick of the eye, and I didn't have a chance to test it again, but I believe I used the shrine of sirona spell to heal a stack last night. I had two units in the stack injured, and I had the whole stack selected when I clicked it. I could be wrong, but I think it healed both of them.
 
Is it normal that some of my slaves disappeared?I had 7 slaves captured by Saverous but while i was retreating them to my city Avatar of Wrath appeared and i had only 3 of 7 slaves alive.

I also noticed that my units tended to disappear in large numbers near the Avatar of War. Except for my Infernal Lords who were teleported to my capital. I just assumed that the Avatar killed them somehow while I wasn't looking, and that the Infernal Lords are in fact immortals (I got them from high AC, not tech). Ah, the joy of discovering a new civilization..
 
I want to report a serious bug. I think it didn't happen to someone here before.

I was playing mutliplayer with patch c two or three days ago (2 human players, direct IP connection). Everything was running cool, until approximatly turn 50, when we were suddenly out of sync. Reconnecting didn't change anything, cuz the next turn we were out of sync again. save/load brought the same result.
So we had to end the game and start a new one, but, as everybody may imagine, after 40-50 turns we were out of sync again.

We have played civ and ffh before (not fire), also played direct IP connection, and this never happened. So it has to be a fire-specific problem.

That's certainly odd - I've been playing a few multiplayer games with fire, experiencing no more desyncing than in earlier versions. Are you sure everyone had the same FFH patch?
 
got a CTD, at least in patch d and f .. the only ones ive tried.
when you are zoomed out to the globe view, if you click the military overlay the game CTDs.

also, the game went OOS when Hyborem entered the world and i elected to switch to him .. solved by exiting and rejoining as hyborem

diseased corpses don't heal properly in enemy territory? heal was showing something like 2 billion turns or so to heal - as soon as i took the city with the unhealed corpse [once it was my territory] he was able to heal in 2-3 turns

and one more -

sometimes the text describing a clicked on unit gets stuck sometimes when the turn ends, flipping to the windows desktop and back fixes it
 
I'm having problems displaying OO farms and perhaps cottages.If i remember well i got this problem also in Light Version but forgot to post it.
