FfH2 0.21 Bug Thread

Sorry. I've rewritten so much stuff for 0.22 that Im not really interested in 0.21 ctd's anymore. That said I just spent the past few days fixing CTD's in 0.22 that may have existed in earlier versions (though I have saves of them on 0.22).

Put that carrot away. You're tempting the FORBIDDEN QUESTION.
 
Don't know if it's a bug or WAD, I razed the CotD holy city from Cardith Lorda, but didn't get the negative diplomacy modifier "You have razed our holy city".
If it's WAD wouldn't be better if this diplomacy modifier would be reintroduced, afterall Kuriotates has some link with Dragons.
 
Well the Cult cant ever be a state religion, its basically just some of the people in those cities that follow the cult, so it isn't really the nation's holy city.
 
It isn't the religion of the civ but it's a holy city.I think it would be more realistic if razing a holy city even if it is the CotD you should have a negative diplomacy modifier, (Kuriotates are linked to the Dragons also)

they have to be in the religion, and you can't be in the cotd religion, because it's non-standard
 
Probably this has been reported and put of for 0.22 but the more output the better. These are only some python errors that I got while playing as Sheiam.

Yeah, I havent been able to figure out where those giftunit errors are coming from. Im still looking into it.
 
Acolytes respawn if you use them to spread the religion to one of your own cities.

Hmm... I thought it was an intended feature that you get free acolytes or crusaders depending on tech level if you're Order and the religion spreads to a new city?
 
I had assumed so as well, the condition being that the Order is your state religion. This makes the Order very easy to spread throughout your empire.

The gift unit errors should be because CvPlayer::getCity and CvPlayer::getUnit can return units/cities that doesn't exist anymore. PyPlayers in PyHelpers.py have a couple functions (getUnitList and getCityList) that return a list with only existing units/cities.
 
There is sort of a bug with Vampire Lords. If you upgrade a Vampire with Body II and Death II to a Vampire Lord, he will loose them because Vampire Lords start with Body and Death I (along with Mind I). Since they need to be level 12 to be upgraded, getting those 2 promotions back is a long way... Probably Vampire Lords should only get Mind I, and players should first upgrade lower level units to Vampire and after to Vampire Lords, if it's possible.

And if you sacrifice a Confessor to build a temple in your own lands he respawns as an Acolyte.

Is that a bug? I thought it was supposed to work that way.

And my confessors give me crusaders, not acolytes.
 
My ranger was escorting a captured bear back home when the bear was attacked and killed by a lizardman. After the turn was over I noticed that my ranger had moved to an adjacent tile. I believe that this happen because the ranger was invisible as I have seen this type of thing occur with a shadow. I don't believe that this should happen to a ranger with the invisibility promotion. Is this intended?
 
I believe so - otherwise units'd end up sharing tiles with enemy units in a weird fashion, and an option to have the invisible unit defend would cause OOS errors in multiplayer.
