FfH2 Bug Thread

I just played the Splintered Court Scenario as Volanna and when I defeated the last of the Ljosalfar leaders (Thessa, whom I gave to Alexis. I first gave Amelanchier to Duin and then wiped out Arendel Phaedra) it said that Duin had won a conquest Victory. The scenario was not marked as having been won, and when I tried to play it again I got a CtD.

I did cheat in worldbuilder a bit, if that could be causing the problem.

Nope, none of the scenarios will load for me, even after saving a game on Erebus map. Get CTD with them all..

Odd issue, don't know if there is something I'm missing or what.

Sheelba's Wolf Raiders are all acting like they have Marksman, despite not having the promotion or anything in the Pedia suggesting that they have this effect.

Played most of a quick game on a Duel Erebus map, there was an ancient tower with the pool of tears tag, 2 tiles away from the guardians of Pristin Pass, which were not near mountains.

I've got some cosmetic issues, no thread for them yet so I'll just post here...

The chance of a defensive strike and the damage of one are not displayed for the unit. It gets annoying to have to check the pedia for the unit, then add the effects of each promotion just to see defensive strike chances...

The precision promotion has no information to say what it actually does...

Also in the Umbrawood scenario
Spoiler :
Duin is listed as TXT_KEY_LEADER_DUIN

It may be my mathematics that is wrong but I don't think the Illians +1 happiness for the Temple of the Hand is working.

PS Great mod :)

Edit: I mean the bonus for incense

The issue with the options from other mods being copied over to FFH still persists. Right after download I started a custom game with the Ljos to find out I couldnt build any warriors or heal my units. Checkings settings I saw the advanced options on for, I guess, scenario purposes & got reminded last time I played I had the FiRe mod on.
I feared I had to search for the post, that shows where to edit wich line "...00010...", but remembered the workaround to start a normal Civ game.

Until this issue is solved, I suggest a notice for ppl unaware of this!

I 2nd CTD with starting some scenarios.
Initially I had no problems with the Menagerie & Gift of Kyorlin, but had some with Barbarian Assault. After getting the options right & using Kaels workaround I was able to start & am currently playing it (I pretty much guess its intended that the Ljos start in an unforested area (two on the deer & fur) surrounded by jungle, it just looks like there might be ancient forests swallowed up by whatever bug!).

Played as the Sheaim, researched Corruption of Spirit/Infernal Pact and adopted Ashen Veil - when I change my civic to Sacrifice the Weak, it changes it straight back to Religion again (other civic changes seem to work alright).

It may be my mathematics that is wrong but I don't think the Illians +1 happiness for the Temple of the Hand is working.

did you have the Philosophy tech? you need that to acquire incense ( calendar is just for plantations, it doesn't give access to the actual resource )

Went through the same situation (didn't touch the worldbuilder). Pretty much no matter what you do it will give the victory to Duin - even if you wipe him off the map before finishing off Arendel.

Aaaahh....years of playing Civ and I never realised. Disregard then. I'm the bug.

Nope can't get scenarios to run, tried the Erebus thingy but no joy. Also I've a couple of custom maps, when I try to load them all the rivers disappear?

Here's just a few of my reported bugs that are not fixed or acknowledged as needing to fix. I have included fixes for the 1st 2 reports. Someone just needs to add them to the stable version of FFH.

I imagine that quite a few others I've reported aren't fixed as well. Quite understandable, as the bug logs from old versions are a lot of pages to go through and there are a fair number of false reports/questions mixed in.

Not sure if this is cosmetic or what, but instead of "Baron Duin Halfmorn," it says TXT_KEY_LEADER_DUIN. See screenshot.

Not quite sure if this is a bug. I was playing the Barbarian Assault scenario, and when I explored a dungeon I popped an Acolyte. Now since the Order is unresearchable in this scenario, this doesn't seem right.

This happend for me just now. also the bug for the baron being named TXT_SOMETHING_WEIRD (forgot the name)

to the devs, you should have tested this thing better.

also on the grand menagerie scenario. after you kill each animal you get that text in the top right corner. that text should only appear when you kill the 1st animal of that type, for ex when you kill ur first wolf, or gorilla, or tiger or etc, now it appears almost after every kill you do (attackin, not defensive)

Graphics overlay the text on the main screen, causing me to not be able to tell how many turns to heal a unit, etc...

Few bugs - Amurite Wizards are red blobs (Small Erebus map), "Precision" promo has no description, and "Keen Eyes" has the description text "Has 20% chance of doing 0% damage..."
