Then create one.

That's a little curt and rude response to what was basically just a suggestion put out for everyone's benefit, don't you think?

Well, considering the fact that I've been constantly changing sleep hours, the fact that I have a tojan on my PC and school is starting on sunday, I'd say it's a pretty normal response.

Nope, it's only Saturday. There's a plan to change it to both Friday and Saturday, but that would consist of more hours of school (not sure if so in the overall) and I'm really enjoying the few hours I spend at school (I mean the large number of hours I spend outside of school).

Would anyone like to create their MP leaders? You can pick 3 positive traits or 4 positive and Agnostic, in addition, you choose your civilization and leader name. Scorched Earth (and possibly Barbarian, we haven't really gone into this yet) may be chosen freely as a neutral trait. You can take a look at the 2nd post of this thread for leaders already created (well not coded, because I really don't feel like doing that anytime soon. If someone does, please send it to me and I will upload the XML to the second post, I will also be willing to modify any leader from then on).

EDIT: Forgot to mention that Adaptive can not be chosen, after all, you are chosing your traits to begin with.
2 traits
or
4 traits one of which is negative

anything else makes no sense and we've discussed this before.

I think a Spiritual, Aggressive, Organized Bannor leader would be lots of fun.
The setup is 2 traits or 4 one of which is negative, we've gone over this but deathling changes his mind after agreeing to things for some reason lol
The negative traits are the traits decreed as negative by the modmakers, so Agnostic and Scorched Earth.

I'll get you setup once we line up a custom leader game date with a specific version in mind. Also you can use custom pictures if you like, we'll be going all out, heh.
I can add a leader to the Calabim as well if we have three people wanting it.
We could possibly make changes to allow each to get their civ-specific heroes as well.

Seems that quite a few people are taking three traits as a base, then adding whatever negatives onto that. Do you really want a possible seven traits for a custom leader, Deathling?

ya, sleep deprived deathling changed everyones traits with his new system that he told no one about that gives him 6 traits lol

to reiterate, 2 traits base, or you can add 1 more with a negative (agnostic or scorched earth) as well, for a total of 4 traits.

im up for the games tonight

about adaptive and insane. insane counts as three traits and isnt really a unique combo, so it would kind of defeat the purpose of this "try to make an optimal leader" type of thing.

adaptive when you're already deciding all your traits in the beginning is basically saying "im like the rest of you, but one of my traits i get to change whenever i want" - i.e. no one has any reason not to pick adaptive trait, since they can just pick the one they wouldve taken in its place and then choose it, then change it if the situation changes.

also, people could pick 3 adaptives? would that cause bugs? also, note that adaptive isnt a real trait atm (not sure if thats the way its supposed to be or not), in that it allows you to change 1 of your previous traits, so would you do Creative/Adaptive for instance? you'd only get Creative and you'd be able to change it (1 trait for the whole game that you can change that starts as creative).

basically, insane counts as three and already exists as a leader, and adaptive is too unknown in its workings at the moment to be used.

Well, I must admit that playing as an insane elf or vampire or something might be interesting. I don't really want to, but if someone does, we ought to see if it would work. It would probably have to be the person's only trait, though.

I think getting completely (well, almost) random traits is a handicap enough it itself. We'd just have to be sure that no one tried to add another one by picking scorched earth/agnostic.
