Yes, i sure wanted to use it, as well as the even biger FF8 map made in 2004 - I've been creating an FFVIII/8 scenario during the weekend using the Final Fantasy Main Mod by Hikaro Toriyama/DJ Bonebraker, and your map as well as another even bigger map made by someone else in 2004 for FF8.
I did alter things in the FF main mod to disable vanilla units, and am working on both maps, but I think I've finished working on yours and now it's just playtesting remaining. I had done a video yesterday but one cavalry unit ruined it because it was an unaltered vanilla horse cav unit, and I had thought I had replaced all of them - gonna remake the video as it's been replaced with a Chocobo now - Yeah, many of the cav units are named "Chocobo cavalry" in the FF mod but are still using the old horse, despite DJ Bonebraker creating three different Chocobo units which I obviously replaced them with.
I've also added Edea the Sorceress as the leader of Galbadia, as the latest release of the FF mod used a vanilla unit for the Edea character, Laguna and Squall lacked unique leaders and used a vanilla unit so I've replaced the Laguna unit with the Shinra Marine - it actually looks very close to Laguna from the flashbacks when you play as Laguna and his team, and Squall got replaced with Rinoa Heartily on the map.
The reason I've made two campaigns is because I wanted to see which map worked the best, your map is in my opinion very good with the ships moving troops to invade all the time, but it's smaller and less detailed - certain portions of it is better detailed and the area of Esthar is less impressive compared to the other map.
It's gonna be interesting to see which map I'd like more. I'm only done with the one you made.
I still need to fix the recruitment of the unique units, as I disabled the shared units and they don't seem to recruit their own units, but everyone has starting troops on the playtest.
